I don't go for the brand but for hourly chime sounds just as classical clock, as LV is the cheapest than the Swiss watchmakers. (Even I know Louis Vuitton watches are by ZENITH). Early 2010 and now still is timeless . Even I love computers but I hate smartwatch, I love mechanical analogue watch.

Thankyou for not using that overused and often undeserving word "iconic" in your review. Compared to the monstrous previous iterations of the Tambour, they are heading in the right direction, but it still needs to be thinner, and simpler. To have "Paris" and "Suisse" on the dial is really odd, as is having Louis Vuitton written twice on the watch face and case.

I mean, the watch might be made in Switzerland but it was designed in France. Using "Suisse" instead of "Switzerland" or "Swiss" is also a subtle way to reinforce its Gallic heritage.

with that chocolate dial and a toblerone rota at the back I’m not sure if I want to wear it or eat it But either way it’s nice But nowhere near as nice as a plethora of other gold watches out there A gold santos Gold finissimo Gold overseas 222 AP Etc Still a long way to go. Good luck to them

You make a good point: a gold Overseas is significantly less expensive than the Tambour, same goes for Finissimo. Santos isn't really integrated and the others are way more expensive
