beware tuk2 n taxi scam bro :-) they usually take u go to gems shop n they say to u; today Grand Palace is closed, to avoid this scam, it's better use application Klook for booking transportation :-)

Just keep in mind that MRT blue line is constantly open up new stations for test run, so this make BLUE line a bit less reliable. Last week alone it broke down like twice. So spare some time.

For whoever watch this to get to Grand palace. Please be aware that the entrance is facing Sanam Luang (the wide green field in front of the palace) in this clip after you get out of the MRT station. Exit 1 which will take bring you to Museum Siam first. Walk in opposite direction from the museum (consult the map in the area) to Wat Pho (600 metre) Then to the Grand palace (900 metre from station). The white palace wall is long and you can only enter at specific gate as official specify. Consult their web site.

In weekend chatuchak market is the best place to shop and if you like to enjoy an evening on chaproya river you can go to asiatique riverfront or maybe icon siam too. And if you like food than go to ratchada train market. Greetings from Thailand

Thanks for the vlog. You mentioned a line change along the way from your starting point. I didn't see that in the vlog. Did you have to exit the station to make the line change? Also at the end of the video you mentioned you could turn right and go to the Grand Palace. How far of a walk to continue on to the Grand Palace?

Concerning the line change now its updated you can go directly from ask to sanam chai. And the walk to grand palace is about 5 min
