Hi Sam and friends. I found your channel about a month ago. As an old bloke who gets on a bike about once a year, I have absolutely nothing in common with you. But,the skill and drive you clearly have to perform all your tricks is quite something to see. (Even Elliott falling off is better than my riding) If only there was a tandem MTB, you could charge to scare the poop out of people. Nice one.

Sam, you're just so relaxed and confident in everything you do. Even your crashes have style as you seem to have learned the art of taking the impact in a controlled manner. The best bit is you just get straight back up and get back into it again, pulling out tricks that no mere mortal would contemplate doing. Glad Elliot didn't hurt himself going off the back of the quarter.

Epic vid! Regarding the brake, some brands such as TRP make hydromechanical calipers. That way you can still use the gyro with a more powerful caliper in the back. Only issue is, these calipers are on the heavier side and intended for road levers, so different pull ratio... might still work with your lever though since the pull is bigger on v-brake levers than on those roadie thingies

I love how you said “it’s only an 8 foot wide quarter pipe”. When I was riding BMX in the 80’s that was the standard size, and for run up we used a trick ramp. The only half pipes that you saw were concrete bowls in places like Romford and Southsea. Another awesome video though Sam 👍🏻

Sam you can remove the "water mud thing" with a hose- you need to fil the hose with water put one end in the water and breath in (suck idk how to say it I am from kroatia) and it shoud work fast. It is 100% working.
