This movie was horrible. It was incredibly scattered, the theme and pacing was inconsistent as hell and you could tell there were dozens of different directors throughout the process

The worst mutants movie. This could have been because “The New Mutants” felt more like a short film and didn't allow any extra time for character development. The plot also feels rushed because it lacks additional context on what is going on within the asylum and what the main villain, Demon Bear, even is.

basically, it related to the logan movie. The doctor is working for the same place which is x23 escape. There was gossip about this team will appear with the x23 together in a movie but xmen is now Disney's so that won't happen.

Illyana(Magik) is not a regular mutant. She is a powerfull sorcerer to(Doctor Strange league of skill and power. In fact , she is a Sorcerer Supreme of Limbo=literal hell dimesion wich make her one of 5 Hell Lords like Hella, Mefisto, etc) As Hell Lord, Magik lern a lot type of ...well magic, but her best is Dark Magic( thats why she is refer as Demon Quieen) . What we saw in that scene was an anomaly cause by the trace of her magic . If you curiose: . Magik mutant abilities are her teleportation disk wich allow her travel threw big distance(like whole Solar Sistem with eas)\ travel to another dimensions and time traveling( with some limitations, but still dope) . Her most obvios magic abilities are her Soul Sword(powerfull magic artefact wich can dispell all magic, destroy magical creatuers, cut threw everything - even vibranium. Ilyana created this from her soul after spend years imprisoned in Limbo by former Hell Lord Belasco) and her armor

How is the poster scene cut out Of the movie!?! 😮 def recommend a directors cut and sequel. Just rewatched it but saw these deleted scenes for the first time. Would have been great to have them and a connection to The Gifted as well as Deadpool and Xmen Apocalypse. All connect but wiki fandom isnt filled out yet for New Mutants
