The lack of Mournfang or Rhinox mounts for Bruiser and Tyrants is a real shame but otherwise these all look great, especially the Paymaster, he might be my favourite new character model (love the treasure Gnoblar!). 💰 P.S It's great to finally see a Maneater unit that aren't wearing pirate hats!

Golg is also better than Ghark because you can stick Golg anywhere. The only reason Ghark wouldn't be in the MoM is if, IDK, he went on some kind of metal pilgrimage or was sent on assignment by the chorfs

Now for the true question about Gnoblar Piggyback riders, since they are mounted, are they a large model, or medium model? Gnoblars are small, so 2 should be medium sized, but all mounted units in Warhammer Total War are considered large models.

You know, when they said that Bragg's special ability is to cause fear, I was buffled. Like, all ogres cause fear by default. But now I look at him and he's not so bad...i think. If he will be better than Bruknir, I am happy.

Piggyback Riders don't have charge defense, and they have +30 charge bonus. Just wondering, would they have done even better against the trolls if you had actually charged them? I don't think Piggybacks are meant to stand still and take the charge. I wonder if their primary purpose is to go in and attack large units that have already engaged your ogres in supporting charges.

If I read the lore correctly Golgfag also had a bright idea to loot Ungrim's supplies after helping him out with an orc warlord Five years later Red Ruin caught up to him and tossed him to prison. I wonder if there will be some interaction between those two? Also I am bit disappointed that they didnt really try to work with the fact that Bragg was terryfying to both enemies AND allies. I think it would be a pretty hilarious idea where he has for example bigger debuffs for leadership... but they work both on allies and enemies

I wish we would get still a Chaos Champions kind of DLC for the Ogres, not necessarily in terms of Lords, but in terms of units where we just get full man-eaters but with a bunch of variants, like one for each of the Warhammer race: Tomb King Maneaters, Lizardmen Maneaters, Bretonnian Maneaters, etc. We'd get like 10 units like that with thus different stats, armour, weapons variations, and even some special abilities of some kind that kinda mimic the abilities of the race? And no, no, there's no sense in having both Thundertusk and Stonehorn in the same army... Thundertusk is just straight better... Stonehorn just have 10 more armour and 10 mor charge, that's it. In comparison, Thundertusk has the chilling aura, frostbite, has magical attacks, has more ammo, has a second AND A THIRD range weapon (which probably therefore don't have ammos and are therefore infinite ammo!!!???), and above all! It has 14 MA and 4 MD more! + 1000 more HP! That's a lot! Especially when it comes to the MA! What do you mean, it's comparable in stat to the Stonehorn, Nathan?!!?

I hope we'll see a Tyrant and Bruisers with 2h weapon sooner rather then later. A additional variant of the Golgf*g's maneater would have been nice When it comes to the units in campaign since you will focus on quality over quantity I don't know how much worth vultures and pigback bring to the DLC at least in the campaign

I hope the ogres will get a Master Hunter as a lord type and ogre crossbowmen (i saw art so it's valid i think) I want more ranged units for ogres...Ledbealchers for DPS, Maneater Pistols for frontline and Crossbogres for more sustained dps.

Units looks pretty great. I do want to point out that the 2D portholes for Bragg and G-Money look really good. I found the portholes for the ToD people to be pretty bland, which is why these stood out to me.

Now that I see the Piggyback Riders I have to say I think they may be my favorite new unit. They are a bog-standard anti-large shielded tier 1 unit. There is a lot of those but this one is interesting. Warhammer is such a silly thing and GW has been overdoing the grimdarkness a bit too much. A crappy cheap shielded spear unit with only 100 models. We have been talking about them for weeks.

How could someone not think pigback riders would be useful!? imo what ogres need the most are more none large units. Otherwise its like play rock paper scissors with no paper. Due to that I hope we get another weapon variant of pigback riders at some point that can be effective against infantry. That way if someone brings a lot of halberds for example ogres could have something that isn't large to make it so their opponent can't make their whole army anti large with no repercussions.

I'm positively suprised by vultures and Piggy-back riders. I was sure they wouldn't show up after turn 10 in my campaigns. Unfortunately thundertusk is kind of disapointing, not because of itself but because of stonehorne. Even if their duel was bugged I simply can't comprehend making a variant that makes a tier V unit obsolite. i'd say one of them needs a rework into some specialization.

Yeah it was my understanding that the tundertusk was the more squishy but magical one with the snowball ranged attack, and the stonehorn was the heavy and physical one.

I really don't agree with your opinion. Ogres don't eat that good. They are getting a good reworks for free but as far as the DLC content goes, they are kicking a can in the corner in comparison with Greenskins as well as Khorne. Paymaster is a Tyrant with some magical items added into his statblock... Literally a pointless addition since magic (especially the healing magic) will be always a stronger buff than whatever Paymaster can do, since most of Ogre roster is full of monstrous infantry, so Slaughtermaster is still the best lord option. The Thudertusk and Yeghtees are a valuable addition with those magical attacks. I'm just wandering what will be the point of Stonehorns now. Because Stonehorns and Thundertusks are both a tier 5 anti-infantry single entities, but the difference is that Thundertusks are actually better at the job... Piggyback riders are just for shits and giggles - these guys could've been a FLC addition. In terms of the DLC content, they are really not anything that I would pay for... Bruisers are pretty good - dedicated melee hero is something that has been missing in the Ogre roster. Blood Vultures are... good🤷 I mean, they do fill in the spot that wasn't occupied by other units in the game but not necessarly a role that Ogres needed. And that's about it really. Half of the Ogre DLC is either redundant or out right pointless in terms of game balance...

This literally makes no sense to showcase PERFORMANCE of the unit when one of them is deliberatelly debuffed with this xD. I have no idea if you are paid for it by CA but hopefully you will stop doing it in the future videos...
