I'm definitely considering picking this up in the next few weeks. Of course, I will mostly be using it for entertainment but, it will make a nice supplement for my laptop. In addition, I'm not really worried about the mediatek dimensity 9000 chipset. It is a very stable chipset that I've used before on other devices. In fact, it is the equivalent of the Snapdragon 8+ gen1. I'm confident that the stuttering you're experiencing on certain games is going to be solved with a software update. From my experience, it is not a problem with the chipset.

My comment got deleted for some reason but the apple superiority comments surprisingly stuck around(which says more than the deletion itself) ... ANYWAY this a great start for a tablet from a company that is known for sticking to "more for less "phones. Like i said before I don't think the oneplus tab is competitive for an iPad Pro... but it's meant to undercut the prices for premium android tablets. There are similarities to the iPad Pro but I think it's meant to be compelling towards something like the tab s8 or maybe the eventual release of the google pixel tablet...if they would of made a PRO Version of the oneplus pad that be different .

The chopiness while scrolling is an issue with the screen. Not too concerned with scrolling smoothly. Not a deal breaker for me The games will get optimized since most games are optimized for snapdragon. The Ayn Odin handheld shares same chipset. Devs are making games wirk with this chip

at the end of the day. get a 2in1 laptop. much better performance and is well better for gaming with either Nvidia Geforce now. or an External GPU.

Android tablet been trying for years and only Samsung have a good one & haven’t kill apple iPad yet 💯💯 oneplus have to worry because they are next on the android cellphones list to fail like LG ,HTC and etc… they are running on fumes for years 💯💯💯✌🏻
