Not gonna lie, I love his personality. He's so jovial and comical but smarmy and patronizing at the same time. Also the fact that he's so easily able to annoy Sombra. Mauga is one of my favorite character types. A big strong guy who seems like a dumb brute at first glance, but is deceptively smart. What's scarier is he knows people underestimate his intelligence because of his relaxing fun personality, but he doesn't make any effort to correct that mistake because he can only gain by being underestimated. Those are the ones you really gotta watch out for

I know they tried to give us a charismatic Junkerqueen, but Mauga just hits those right spots that makes you smile when you listen to him talk. That and it’s nice to see he still respects Bap (or at least seems like he isn’t holding a grudge too much, but then he could be trying to trick him). I think my favorite line from all of this was “NOT THE PIZZAS!” as if he realized he might have gone too far with what he did previously. That and he is really respectful to Zarya.

Def not smartest. Id say in the grand scale of things, he is a little above middle of the road. He isnt simple minded like junkrat, but he's also nowhere near winston, sigma, or hammond levels of book smart. It really makes sense to me this "reluctant underling" thing they have between Mauga and Doomfist. Mauga is essentially what we all thought dps Doomfist was gonna be when he was shown in his origin animated trailer.

it always intrigues me when the junkers end up being hostile towards talon. you would think two bad guys would work together, but i have a feeling hog might still have a moral compass, and might not even be as bad as his reputation suggests. especially since he meshes well with ana, whom even though shes definitely a renegade shes still not the type to ally with bad people. a "merciless killer" but with no real kill count besides words spoken about him. and with a soft side. and distaste of allying with talon. i honestly think hog is just a common thief like junkrat, but his reputation got blown out of proportions due to his lack of clarification.
