I seen the 1994-95 version of the nighttime price is right a few times during my teen years

Am I the only person who not only finds this version of TPiR to be so underappreciated, but finds Doug Davidson to be so underrated for a host. IMO, he would've made a decent replacement for Bob Barker, let alone sub host.

Anybody would’ve been better than Drew Carey. He’s horrible imo

I recall reading that Doug did audition for the hosting role on the daytime show back in 2007, during the Barker-to-Carey transition.

Interesting how the presentation of Any Number was pretty much just as it was in 1972…presenting the chair first with a pause and buildup to the car…

Correct me if I'm wrong, but someone said one of the models (Ms. Stahl) was a contestant on "Super Password" years before she signed on to Doug's PIR. Is that true or false?

No, "Match Game".

Wait, I thought he was on the Y&R or was he doing both? Thanks!!

I have nothing against this version, either.

It is TRUE ! Lisa was a contestant on "Super Password" back in 1988, six years before this version of "TPiR" came about.

Now that's convient to have two jobs in the same studio, that can't possibly happen very often. Thanks for helping me out, while I don't watch Y&R (my mom used to), I knew he was on that show as well.

Cool showcase!

Y&R is his daytime job, just so you know. TNPIR '94 was his nighttime job.

I kinda figured the same, but I thank you; nonetheless, for clearing that up for me : )
