I don't know what you're talking, Siege is a flawless game. I mean, if I ignore the fact that my voice chat randomly decides it doesn't want to work sometimes, and that I had a period of two or three days once where my mic simply would not register no matter how many times I restarted the application, and sometimes it doesn't show me talking when I press push-to-talk but my teammates can still hear me (which is frustrating because how am I supposed to know if it's registering at all or if it's not working?) the game is perfectly fine! So what if there's a few bugs that have been in the game for six years now that Ubisoft just seems to not care about in the slightest? Praise be to Ubisoft, the second best gaming company right behind the almighty Bethesda.

When Crimson Heist launched I was like "wtf, how did they manage to break it". I mean, on the Test Server it had a few bugs, but nothing major. On the Live Server now it seems like almost everything broke; Whitebox Bug on Valley spawn in Border, Recoil bug, Sound went way worse again... Feels like the broke everything by launching the new season.

does anyone else miss the OG r6s recoil, where weapons actually moved around on the screen instead of being glued to your characters face. I get the issues it seemed to cause with misalignment, but it looked and felt so much better to me. Felt like they could give weapons so much more character. I think it would have been amazing to see that with patterns that were visually relayed to the player through the motion of the weapon rather than just tracking the difference in where the world moves.

I had noticed that I'd been performing quite a lot worse since the new season started but couldn't figure out why until people started complaining about the recoil. It was because I was mainly hitting body shots and not headshots because the recoil is so weird now. Just like every season, Crimson Heist came with a bunch of weird issues and I can't wait until they can patch them out and at least get the game to perform similarly to how it was at the end of Neon Dawn.

It is called analogue drift and is a problem with the controller rather than the game. Look up videos on how to fix the analogue drift.

That would be stick drift. A hardware issue, not a software issue. The best way to fix it other than repairing or replacing your controller is to increase your dead zones in game.

When they built an FPS on the Assassin's Creed engine, they never planned to have it run for this long. As far as I know, they were just looking at one year of DLC... but then, to their huge surprise, the game started to take off and they extended the lifespan. The problem is that the way the game is coded causes huge regression issues with every single update. Old bugs come back again and again... new bugs appear. It's a huge task to try to stay on top of and I feel for the programmers. At the same time, it's a really bad customer experience and needs to be better.

First, thank you for replying. Nice to see a creator interact with his viewers in the comment section. I'll be real, there's no way this game could live long if Ubisoft isn't going to rewrite Siege's code. We already see how the engine is limiting them in terms of updates and everything. The fact they have to work with a engine like that is sad and I do also feel for the programmers, The 100 operator goal is just out of the question, no way they can make it there with all the limitations they have on them now. From my view it's either reworking the foundations or just starting from scratch and making Rainbow Six Siege 2. But I may be just talking non sense and dreaming big but from what I see with my own eyes right now, it's nothing pleasant. Also regarding recoil, I think it could be either something to do with the facts there's two different recoils, one for mouse and other for controllers (Since one of the Neon Dawn patch notes they said they improved recoil for few weapons for controllers only). And that could mean that there's some problem it causes the issue. Or it's maybe the fact they messed with G36C recoil and did a big oopsie on the way and messed up the recoil for everything else along the way.

After they fix the recoil issue, have you considered doing a wide spread comparison of the SMGs? I know that's a rather large project and you've done similar before, with the MP5 Family, but I'm curious to see how the changes they've made to recoil/specific guns since you did those videos play out against each other. I feel like I've noticed different experiences with the different MP5s over the last few years, but that could also just be a me thing.
