Yo same issue the manacost struggle is real, what really helped me a lot is realising that his lvl1 E dmg is less then an autoattack so i never use E before having 2 or even 3 points into it, obviously if i can afford myself but that's like a goal, Q is very strong for early trading, cheap for mana gives both dmg and shields so honestly it's not that hard not to use E until like lvl 4, the only time i allow myself to use E is when i have manaflow band proc ready

@@zenks5883 as a Viktor main you don't really wanna use your mana in the early and only use it when you really need to. And about e and q you up q lvl1 when you're against a melee and e when you're against range matchups. 🙂

Each cs, kill and assist gives you some fragments and each 100 fragments you can get an upgrade

You get fragments like Darthraider said and for 100 fragments you can upgrade 1 ability and when you upgraded all basic abilities you get an upgrade for your ult. I think that's how it works.

I think with first strike, viktor can really thrive in the early game. Since you're waiting to get your augments, early levels suck for him but first strike gives you the gold to push ahead since you have poke capabilities

You have to think about risk/ benefit. If out of a 100 times, you run oom once, but you make it back for cs/a fight 15 times, you take that risk every time.

yes, viktor's q enhanced auto is not a projectile. senna's autos, zoe passive auto and others ignore yasuo wall as well for the same reason.

Yeah yas is a VERY poor viktor matchup. He ignores your zoning, out maneuvers you, out damages you, and will out scale if he snowballs. Typically what I ban, that or ekko for the similar reasons. I honestly feel like Aurelian is doing much better with these items then viktor if you could try it out.

Viktor is so depressing to play without his E upgrade. It really annoys me every time I play him. And how high his WR skyrocketed we already know the item and or he himself and or the rune will get nerfed HARD which will make it not worth investing time into him atm.

Yea his early game is already ruined by having to wait so fucking long for his e upgrade. Unless you pickup an early kill, it will take you so long to get all three upgrades. They force you to look for early fights but then they make his early game so weak. You are forced to take elec with corrupting pots just to have good poke. And now we have him getting popular as hell, more and more streamers will play him for content, his W/R will peak, and then he will get the alkali treatment and he will be useless for a season.
