I think the issue with the hipfire is that the shotguns pellet spread ( separate state from hipfire) is high so using the bryson choke reduces it my like 38%

I never thought I'd see a CoD game with a semi-realistic SPAS-12. I love that you can switch the fire-mode, just like on a real SPAS-12. It's kinda dumb that the slugs can only be used while in pump-action, but Dragon's Breath can be used in semi-auto. On the real gun, the pump-action function was made for rounds like birdshot and Dragon's Breath, that didn't have enough power behind them to make the gun cycle in semi-automatic. Meanwhile, slugs and buckshot would work great in semi-auto or in pump-action. It's really cool that they added that feature. I just wish they made it a little more accurate.

I've noticed that the damage at range is actually better on semi. I was testing all the shells and barrels ect and SEMI seemed to do one shot kills at ranger more often than pump.

I like when the one kid complained about shotguns and his teammate told him to shut up. It's not even just the fact there is a shotgun challenge going on. It's the fact the specific shotgun in question is only the 2nd most beloved weapon in CoD history behind the Intervention. Actually it was the go-to secondary while always running the Intervention cause MW2 shotguns were secondaries.

Ngl I’m jelly that when I was using the spas that it was super inconsistent and even with the long barrel that helps damage range. Also they need to buff it in Zombies, I was using it with triple pack a punch and a gold tier tool and tier 3 zombies still took so many shots to kill on semi auto. Pump was taking 1 1/2 to 2 hits to kill even with shatter blast on. And I still have no idea if the dark aether pack a punch can let u pap a 4th time or not but it takes way too many shots on both pump and semi auto to kill just 1 zombie let alone a train of zombies/dogs with shatter blast on. Tbh I also think it could badly use something like double tap to help in tier 3/dark aether

Im currently on vacation so i be able to try to get it and use it til next week. But based on the videos of this weapon, it has potential but does take some skill to find the right use for it in both fire modes for certain situations. After watching this video, it could very well be that its spread is a bit wider than other shotguns. Usually the spread is a bit average on other shotguns, but this spread might be a bit worse than average for this shotgun( just basing it on videos since im away for a week).

a funny thing about the Spas is that the Center Mass Grip Tape in the Rear Grip section gives you basically instant Sprint-To-Fire. This is not an exaggeration. It combined with either the Ironbrand Barrel or No Stock gives you a 1ms sprint-to-fire, so even though semi-auto isn't that good you can at least run around like an idiot with literally no penalty for shooting out of sprint
