I was waiting for your review on these but decided to bite the bullet before it arrived. Safe to say I'm thoroughly enjoying my Elite 10. Have found the comfort, audio quality and ANC to be top tier and well worth the asking price. Found them to be a step up from the WF-1000XM5 personally (and they're cheaper). That's because while highly rated, the Sony WF earbuds are useless if your ears don't conform to their limited amount of silicone buds. I simply couldn't get the ANC on the XM4s or XM5s to work. Could hear my hoover the same as if I had my wired Oneplus buds in. Convinced the ANC flat out wasn't working at all, or was intermittent at best. So overrated.

Yo, btw, there is touch and hold on these Jabra Elite 10s for volume control. Its on every pair of Jabra earbuds i believe. Just make sure the google assistant is not enabled and instead use default voice assistant setting and when you touch and hold right or left itll adjust vol up or down respectively.

I am surprised by the anc results. In my experience, these do lag behind the airpods pro gen 2, but not by that much. They are still top tier. I guess it could be a fitment/seal issue. I did notice in the closeup of the buds it appeared like your eartips were installed incorrectly. They were upside down. From my experience, I did notice a difference between these installations because I wanted to test it out after seeing how you had them installed.

@@seprussell4836 I know you're in agreement with me, just wanted to add on. Yeah, definitely upside down, imposter syndrome had me second-guessing myself. The box and guidebook show what it looks like upside down and that's what he has there. Also, the nozzle is shaped such that it's supposed to line up with the triangular hole on the buds. I'd like to see him retest with the proper installation. You'd think it wouldn't make a huge difference, but they are uniquely shaped. It was puzzling he got such mediocre-to-bad results compared to other reviewers, even those critical of the elite 10s.

In the settings of the app if you have it set to just the Android default instead of an assistant. A touch and old on the left bud will turn the volume down and the right bud will turn the volume up! I have the Jabra Elite 7 Pro and Absolutely have loved them

I think it is possibile that Jabra has scans of ear canals since they are involved in the hearing aid industry. And the hearing aid industry often uses molds for ear canals, which is where they would obtain the data about geometry of ear canals.

I've had these for about six months, great very, very comfortable earbuds! I've only had mine fall out once, what i did then was change the tips to a bigger tip- no more issues there. Also made the ANC more effective. The hear through mode is great on these, I have it on most of the time when I'm at home so people can talk to me. Sound quality on these is very good, natural and balanced. ANC may not be industry best, but it's okay and gets the job done. In my opinion, the comfort, durability and excellent sound quality make these earbuds very, very competitive. The only pity is these will be the last Jabras, as they are getting out of the consumer market.

Finally a reparable channel doing a solo review of these 😌 I have the Elite 7 Actives rn, got them a few months back, which are an 8 out of 10, and the only reason I don’t give it higher is bc I’m comparing it to other top rated earbuds too. The ANC is phenomenal, wind noise doesn’t get through, hear-through has options now, so you can pick how much noise you want in and out, which is super cool, and amazing battery life for the buds, the case itself, the battery doesn’t last as long as claimed but still very good, so yeah. My first pair was the Elite Active 65ts and they lasted me almost 6 years, these are really, really good…. The only thing is, so far I haven’t had any that had a good mic :/ That’s why I also had to get the AirPod Pro 2s…. I wanted to try these but was scared bc of how expensive and risky it was, knowing what I know. Also, Jabra’s Sound+ app is very good for customizing the earbuds.

The Samsung buds2 pro are better for you since you have a Samsung phone. And if you can get them cheaper, I would definitely go for them. Unless ANC is very important to you. I have all the top Brands and to tell you the truth the only Brand that gives me the ANC I want are the Bose. Sony's just SEEMs to give you good ANC in that they have those VERY uncomfortable foam ear tips which ups the passive NC, but also hurt my ears at the same time.

I've owned the Bose QC 2 and currently have the buds2 pro and Jabra. I also own a Samsung phone (Galaxy s23). Contrary to what others might think regarding Galaxy buds being better because it's Samsung, I disagree. Here are my reasons why Jabra is better in my experience: 1. ANC: plain and simple, it's better than buds 2 pro. 2. Sound: buds2 pro are great and well regarded among audiophiles, but they're harsh and have some weird frequency spikes. At any rate, while I prefer the Jabra stock tuning, even if you don't, Jabra has a decent EQ. Technically Samsung has it built into the phone, but nothing where you can adjust certain frequency ranges how you please. 3. Features: Starting with multipoint, it's seriously impressive. Best implementation I've experienced. Galaxy buds 2 pro don't have as good of an implementation. Jabra's app has a notification overlay in which you can quickly change some settings. It's pretty awesome. They also have find my, which the buds 2 pro have too to be fair. Now, the Galaxy buds2 pro do have the special samsung scalable code for higher res audio. Honestly though, the upcoming LC3 and LC3+ updates might overcome the codec limitation Jabra has Regardless, even with ANC, the jabra's have good resolution. I think tuning is more important, especially since streaming services are lossy anyway. I use Tidal for high res, but even then I really don't think the resolution on Jabra is worse. If anything, the midrange is way more detailed. Bose: just stay away from them. Buggy as hell and overpriced. God tier AAC, but it wasn't worth the headache. Granted I had the qc2 and not the ultra, but from what I've heard the bugginess wasn't fixed for the new pair.

Hey! I've just bought these bad boys a week back & since then I'm testing these rigorously. I pick these just because of there call quality & being the best arounder right now. The only concern that I've is battery timings. When I've tested these they gave me. Calling: Around ~5 hours on call (not a continuous call for 5 hours, its like like ~2.5-3 hours on call, rest on music or simple anc or hear through mode without music). Music: On music on/off (with anc/hear trough) I'm getting 7 hours+ timing on single charge (which is very good)! So are these a good results according to your testing or should I go for a replacement.

Best earbuds I've ever had ! Sound is amazing! comparable to my xm5 wich muffles the bass somewhat the sound on these is clear , crisp They're very comfortable and stay in my ears no matter what i do at the gym ! (After getting comply tips , wich work great on these ) Battery life lasted 10:40 (with ANC on) in my own test , even though the spec says 6 hours , the 3 channels that i saw do battery tests on these got 10 , 11 and 12.5 hours with ANC on , so they under promised and over delivered on the battery! ANC is great but not as good as my sony xm5 witch ill be returning today Very uncomfortable you feel the pressure of that expanding foam in your ear canal and got tired of pinching the tip to get a good seal Also Stability is a problem with the sony the elite 10 are rock solid stable , great on phone calls too (Tried the bose ultra and had to return them the same day mic is horrible on those things ! Can't make a phone call!) If anyone has a problem with the fit just get comply tips

I love physical button to Jabra (already owned Elite Active 75t and Elite 7 Pro both with physical buttons) and I absolutely dislike capacitive touch. Just because of physical buttons, I don't see a wish to buy earbuds from other companies. I love the ability, for example, to pick up a call with a finger through my beanie hat in winter time. I even can pick up a call by touching with an ear onto my shoulder if both of my hands are busy. 😄 I hope Jabra will not drop this feature in future earbuds.

Jabra earbuds are always worth the price. I used to just get whatever was cheap because I used to do landscaping and would go through 6-12 pair in a year. I finally bit the bullet and took a chance on some elites because Best Buy has a replacement plan (get this if you don't already. I have literally ran over a pair and they replaced them no questions asked and all I had to pay was for a new warranty). I have not bought different earbuds since. These things always are able to take a beating and the physical buttons are huge for working out in the heat.

I really wish all these companies would use skin detection sensors like the Airpod Pro 2 instead of the typical optical sensor. I hate having to put them back in their case so I don't accidentally answer a call and automatically go to the buds that are in my pocket. Honestly, if you like Jabra interface, stick with Jabra. But for me after having a rough time with the 85t and 7 series, I switched to the Sony XF 5 series and the leap in ANC and audio quality has made me never look back.

Sound is the #1 priority for me when it comes to all audio gear. TWS included. So I went with the king of the hill; Denon PerL Pro. HOWEVER, compared to AP2's, Galaxy buds 2 pro, and XM5's, I'd say the Jabra's are better than them. You'd need to start poking at other flagships that're $300+ to match these new Jabra's.

A lot less muddy and clear. It's neutral-bright. The nice thing is that it's responsive to the in app EQ adjustments (5 band) It's very similar to the airpods pro 2 signatures, albeit brighter. If you boost the bass bands you'll pretty much get the airpods pro 2 sound signature. If you like clear and detailed audio, these are really good. Stock signature is nice imo. It's not boomy, and the bass/sub bass extension is amazing. The sound staging is impressive. Again though, you can tailor it to your tastes.

Speaking specifically audio quality, if Elite 10 sounds better than the 8 Active (which I own) then very impressive! And I’m an Apple guy, but the AirPods Pro 2 to me sounded less musically involving and definitely less bass producing. Does anyone know a link to a good video that takes newbies through set up and use of these earbuds? It's a lot to figure out for those of us who have never worn earbuds before.

Did you explain somewhere how you measure the DBs for your ANC (it's more of an isolation, i.e. Passive+ANC, test actually)? But yes the Jabras are good all rounders but are let down by their poor passive isolation (by design). Not worth the asking price because of that IMHO.

His experience is contrary to what other reviewers and testers are finding. If you look closely, he has the ear tips installed incorrectly. They're upside down and the seal is greatly impacted by this due to the shape of the tips. In reality, the noise cancelling is really good. It's marginally worse than the likes of the 2nd generation airpods pro (from experience), but in practical use it's not a huge difference. I'd like to see him retest them with the proper installation so it's not misleading to viewers, which IMO it kind of is. As for how he tests them, as he ways, he plays sound samples and gradually increases the volume (measured in dB) until he is able to hear the sound through the earbuds with ANC on. The volume at which he hears the sound is the dB he is recording. It's not equipment-accurate, but it's a clever method (although a testing rig would provide less listener bias). Yes, they have a "semi-open" design but the ANC algorithm is incredibly effective. I'd suggest finding them at a retailer with a good return policy so you can experience them. They are pricey, but they are worth it in my opinion, especially when compared to the likes of the bose QC earbuds as well as offerings from sony.

​@@GarrisonKelleryou're right, the tips are the wrong way round as seen at 0:29, how goofy! Jabra must be furious. And yes that testing would be extremely subjective, for a controllers sound like white/cabin noise it might be a passable solution but for chatter, it's going to be very difficult as I found for myself when switching between earbuds on the fly.

​@@Peakabike​​ most definitely. It's better than nothing and makes it quantifiable to some extent at least, but the upside down tip really makes a big difference. If you're looking for subjective anc performance in comparison to other popular buds, I'll share my experiences (again subjective, but it's something). I hope he retests these buds for reasons in a comment I had in reply to him. Jabra as a competitor to bigger names is needed imo. Anyway, my comparisons: 1. Bose QC 2 earbuds. Best ANC so far in my experience, but a lot of radio and white noise 2. Airpods Pro 2: very good, a little below Bose. Gave these ones up because I'm no longer in the apple ecosystem 3. Jabra Elite 10. Slightly worse than airpods pro 2 in midrange frequencies (chatter) but still very capable. Foam tips for the 85t will fit these despite the weird nozzle shape in my experience, so you can try experimenting with that to make the ANC better than the airpods pro 2. Overall, it's pretty damn close. 3. Galaxy buds 2 pro. Came with my phone. Good buds, but ANC is noticeably weaker and the controls suck. If you wait a couple days, RTINGS is currently testing the Jabra elite 10s. Their review will offer empirical data. They are among the best reviewers out there.

Jabra nails comfort and IPX protection to dust and water, but the sound quality and noise cancellation are better for Sony and BOSE. I cant understand wh y they didnt introduce a HIFI codec, DOLBY is not HIFI, DOLBY is special but the quality of the music didnt improve vs HIFI Codec streaming like LDAC or APTX adaptative, lossless or HD

sensor button could be faulty if the firmware is not updated but physical button never has such problem

@@samuel_cr22 it could takes a lot of time if their quality is great , but sensor touch experience is really bad for me especially stem style , if stemless is fine but i don't like stemless

I have the elite 7 pro. ANC is horrible and volume is tough in crowded area. People always can’t hear me clearly. Hope this model has better improvement.
