The cards in both deck are still well over $100 as of now (w/o supplies), as long as the regalis piece isn't busted and shops don't juice the product we are so back.

This is just my pure cope. Both of them are turn 4 deck suffer same as stride deck that is too slow. I doubt will that regalis will be jump ride. Like search your deck a card that share specific name word as your vanguard but not exactly the same name and ride it. Have a condition such as "you need to have 4 damage or higher" and/or "if your opponent is g3 or higher" (imagine Ignis on g2 opponent).

while its nice that they reprinted these decks as starters, i still think its too expensive. Not gonna be able to convince my friends to try out vanguard if they gotta drop $60 just for a starter. Gone are the days of $5 start decks.

These are looking to be more of the 'premium' (not literally premium) entry product, more similar to stride decksets in that way. The skyride start decks are going to be more of the lower end entry product, and while $5 start decks are definitely a thing of the past now, these skyride ones do come with a regalis piece and nation OT, which is a step up from all the other entry product of that pricepoint, so hopefully it's looking up from here

the problem is "good" is that it's not enough. With a lot of competition in the TCG market a product that is just "good" won't be enough to make people try out the game. Bushi just keeps getting L after L and I won't be surprised if VG won't even make it to the 5 years they planned.
