I own a Suzuki Swift 3rd Gen, Suzuki Carry UV and soon XL7 Hybrid. We are torn between Veloz(CVT) and XL7 Hybrid (VVT) but in the end the XL7 won. I would say na sobrang fuel efficient ng mga Suzuki cars especially the Swift. Also we have the Swift for 6 yrs now and never kami nagka problem at all. We have the Carry UV for more than a year and sobrang smooth niya kahit gamit pang business to Baguio, Benguet with full load no problem. Some mighht think na maliit makina pero it doesnt mean na mahina siya humatak. If you're looking for a reliable car and fuel efficient then go for Suzuki. But if you're looking for malaki na makina go elsewhere or buy a sports car.

This is true. But this is a matter of preference and I prefer to have fuel efficiency. If it does the job then I dont need a more powerful engine. :)

​@@karimamenom Underpower? Hindi po. Ang problema is the transmission. DCT minsan hindi nag ship ng gear, kahit madiin na apak mo. CVT matagal mag ship ng gear at sirain na transmission, pero tipid sa gas. Pinaka maganda yung VVT kasi ginagamit ng fakboi car ng mga pinoy, VVT is kilala ren as Vtec na gamit ng Honda Civic. Kaya pangit na ang honda ngayon, dahil CVT na gamit nila.

I bought this rather than Xpander Cross. I think Xpander Cross has a lot to offer with regards to the looks but XL7 features are extraordinary. The automatic headlamps and Folding side mirrors are very cool!

I can't believe it's still a 4 speed automatic. We sell a "fuel efficient" 7 seater with hybrid but here's a 4 speed automatic instead of the 6 speed we sell in other countries.

i hv owned Toyota altis, innova, & vios years back. My brod happen to buy for the 1st time the Suzuki Vitara. Then i tried the APV. We didnt hv problems with these units, fuel efficient, stable AC, after sales maintenance & customer service is really like perfect. Now, im taking XL 7, i expect same quality service & genuine parts. 👍

Sa mga hindi po nakaka alam yung VVT is kilala ren na Vtec na gamit dati ng Honda. Kaya pangit na ang civic ngayon kasi nag palit sila from Vtec to CVT.

Hybrid? It cannot even be called a mild hybrid.. if it had a 48V motor, yes.. What can a 12V motor contribute to propulsion? Its just a starter generator.. If thats the case then all scooters in RP like the click, mio beat et all should be called a hybrid..

The promo video mentioned the word "hybrid" 30x, but not a single hybrid feature presented. It's like even Suzuki doesn't have any faith in the hybrid system the vehicle uses.

Depende nmn yan kung anong functionality sa hybrid and i think mild hybrid lng ang xl7. Ung stop start system, while na stop ang engine, ung hybrid na ung nagpagana sa electrical system ng sasakyan.

Kahit LTO hindi ni-rerecognize ang mga Suzuki mild hybrids na qualified sa coding exemption. Nagmumukha tuloy marketing lang yung hybrid badge.. masabi lang na hybrid. Also, engine start-stop is old technology sa combustion engines. Kahit yung Celerio, meron nun. I won't count it as a hybrid "feature"

@@Yts3jam Sympre hindi papasa talaga sa LTO kasi ang kino-consider nila as hybrid ung with attachment ng electric motor para maka help sa engine mo. Ang pagiging hybrid ng Suzuki is para lang pagana sa electric component ng sasakyan, wala silang electric motor. At least mka efficient ka parin sa gasoline since hindi na kasama ang engine mo lalo na pag nka air-conditioned ka.Kawawa ang sasakyan mo kung regular battery lng ang pinagana para sa stop start engine. Kaya ung gumagamit nito na sasakyan merong switch para pwde mo gamitin o hindi.

Marketing lang. In reality, mild hybrid.. may regenerative braking at DC battery, pero walang naitutulong sa fuel economy. In my opinion, pampabigat lang ng sasakyan. Nilalagay lang para ma-justify ang mas mataas na presyo at mas mataas na trim level.

Yes but the engine used on XL7 is from Jimny K15B engine.
