My biggest complaint on the truck is the ugly bezel around the screen. It just looks cheap. It looks like toyota did that to purposely shame you for buying a cheaper trim level. Not cool

@@RobMotive Wow, that really disappointed me with the Tundra. What were they thinking? In the winter up here in the north east it became caked in salt and mud and you could hose it for an hour and never get all the crap out. Also the amount of crud that gets through to the engine compartment is crazy! Oh well, welcome to the new Toyota 🤦‍♂️

Can't have it both ways: 1) Claim the 2024 Tacoma has too many all new, untested parts/components. 2) Claim the 2024 Tacoma has too many old parts/components previous Toyota models have had.

Regarding MODS, I do not see your excitement in many interior MODS, like all the 3RD Gens you had. Also, is that a Pedal Commander I see? If so, why? Is the new engine lacking performance?

The mods are coming. I’ll be excited when I have them. Pedal Commander gives a bit more umph and refinement to a MUCH improved power plant in the new Tacoma. Even without it the ‘24 is much quicker than the previous generation.

I think you can find things wrong with any truck. Nothing bothers me about it besides the rear window, 4 cylinder and especially price. Out of my price range for a Tacoma.

Toyota sold the 24 Tacoma with there profit in mind / less parts smaller motor same frame = more profit for Toyota the 4 cylinder will not last heat will destroy it

The skid plate is a cost saver and a potential money maker. Many will upgrade to an after market or Toyota trd cover plate. In addition another cost saver for Toyota is having one rear plate light when earlier model had two, one vanity mirror light, no full size spare tire, no full roof drip molding it's segmented, no cover for the engine. These omissions alone will save them big $$$$. That being said today it's the way of the world to offer less and charge more. Whether a bag of chips at the store filled half with air or a vehicle, any vehicle.

Love the video! When the 4th gen taco was revealed I hated it! And I swore I'd never get one. But alas had to trade in my 3rd gen taco but now I have much regret and am planning on going back to a taco. But I think I will go for the new gen. The videos from you (and others really show the pros amd cons) and I admit. - I may be a bit smitten now with the new version. I just hope the ability to mod the new gen will be on par with that options for 3rd gen.
