tbh you have access to all flights spells regardless of spec. you can be devo yet still you can use Emerald Blossom and Tip The Scales. Or you can be Prevo and still use living flame and desintegrate, and both of them can use the black spells you mentioned. The spec only marks wich flights you literally "specialize" at that moment. So we have one that specialize on red and blue, one that specialize on green and bronze. But not one that spacialize in black spells

Dracthyr really do resemble Sylvari from Guild wars 2 as dragon minions, now with the presence of a shared subconciousness makes that resemblence even more clear! Pretty cool as Sylvari were a really unique race for GW2 and it's nice to see the inspiration in WoW!

I could not agree more with you! With dracthyrs we've already seen that a melee ranged DPS is possible and would be perfect! They would have agility mail gear, which is good for a melee class, and have spells to protect themself of damages and some green spells for self heal, obviously. Could have like the former feral droods with a talent tree devided between tanking and dps!

@@senbonzakurakageyoshi662 Agility makes sense because that's what other mail users have, but if the spec is tank, it will be a 2 hander tank since they can't use shields. They also can't use polearms so either they're stuck with staves only or they will be strength based instead. Either way, it doesn't leave a lot of weapon options in existing content, unless the quest gives you a 395+ agility 2 hander. Which could be an option to give evokers the tmog for the axe in the flashback videos.

If they ever add another DH spec, I could see it leaning into 2H weps with emphasis on soul-based attacks, similar to how Vengeance uses attacks like Spirit Bomb.

The class tree has about as much black as it does red or green - it'd make sense to have a primary spec devoted to Black as well. I would bet on a third spec. Apart from the wording, bimply because (and this is seems to me to be unknown to most) Evokers already use shadowflame abilities. So to "unlock" Shadowflame as an evoker, all you have to do is create the character. ;)

I hope they plan on giving Demon Hunters a Warden spec as their third spec too by the end of the year (maybe to celebrate the transmogs coming out at 12 months of Trading Post?)... Not only would it give all classes at least 3 specs, it would storywise make sense that the Wardens are 'keeping an eye on' Demon Hunters and allow for alternate power source paths for DH in the future for their glide abilities and eyes; like Elunes arcane shimmer, dragon theme, normal fire... as though the fel is wearing off over so much time not consuming Legion souls, forest/Sunwell aesthetic for each respective race... I could see a lot of new lore options open for that class if they did combine the two.

@@Deronimo4 Preservation has a few healing bronze spells. Echo, while not healing itself, duplicates a heal on the target that has the Echo. Reversion is a HoT like Renew or Rejuv. Rewind is a huge raid cd that heals everyone for 50% of all damage taken in the last 5 seconds over 5 seconds. Also not a heal but Time Dilation reduces damage taken on the target (they take half over 8 seconds). Temporal Anomaly is an orb that pops out absorb shields on allies it passes by. Lastly Stasis copies and instantly casts the last three heals you cast at once.

All of which up until 10.1 feels like they ran out of time and we only benefit from them finishing up what was originally meant for launch. I don't mind more of the obsidian stuff underground. We didn't get a full black dragon zone, we just got one section of the red zone set aside for 1 big building. I would be glad to have more stuff set aside for the black dragons. They are one of the coolest of the 5 (although the blue flight is my favorite). Give me more underground stuff. I'm especially excited for this one because this is what I thought deepholm should have always been. It didn't really feel like we were underground because the skybox was so huge. It was just like an open air mountainous area. This looks like some proper underground tunnels and caverns!

It would be interesting if it were a tank spec as it would be the only mail tank. Also, there are now draconid models with wings, so could we see that as a customization option as well? They would definitely fit better as a tank if they could have some muscle on their bones.

It's already confirmed that it will not be a tank or melee spec, sadly. Most likely a support spec.

@@Synthatic Support specs have never been a thing in WoW. I highly doubt we're even getting a new spec, but if we are then I'd expect it to be a tank or melee DPS.

@@Synthatic by support you mean healer? and if that is the case what could it do that preservation doesn't already do? The only thing that would warrant a completely new spec is if it were a tank/melee dps (my moneys on tank as thats what people have been asking for ever since evokers were announced and earth abilities would be a better fit to tank than dps). I dont see them ever adding a completely new spec type as that would require a redesign of pretty much every single type of group content. I also doubt that your sources are even remotely credible since this ptr just came out and people only now found out about this class specific questline. I dont see how blizz would have had the opportunity to address this so quickly.

Im thinking were gonna see poor nozdoromu trigger point happen when were facing deathwings visage. Seems like somethings being set up. Regarding the evoker spec thing. Im hoping they allow the player to choose a spec type. Like give em options of tank and melee dps, maybe a support range class or something.

My hope is that it’s either shadow flame inspired aesthetics or a shadow flame inspired subclass, either a melee dps or ranged. Mostly because I don’t like tanking lol

for the evoker spec im hyped I either believe it might be (god i hope) a tank spec which will bring in the first ever mail gear tank into this since why should leather wearers be special to tank and not mail or another range dps spec that may focus on the dots kinda like shadow priests which is always a welcome treat

NEW SPEC! LET'S GO! I've been wanting the Evoker Tank Spec since the announcement!!!! I really hope they unlock the tank spec through the quest! gonna be so interesting and so unique! and it actually fucking makes sense!
