I like keeping a chest at the elevator for the early game, that way every 5 levels I can empty my inventory and go back in.

you can fish down into the waterfall, you just need to get your fishing level up. thats where i caught my goby

It's in Cinder Sap Forest near the waterfall on the left between 8 and 6 pm. Any kind of weather and any season that you can get the Goby.

I like to bring my geodes to Clint when I'm bringing artifacts to the museum - then if there are any donatable minerals in the geodes I can do it all at the same time. I know you're further along in the series now, but I'm catching up and enjoying it a lot so far!

Don't think about it but you probably step on bugs almost daily. Its really only the ones that crunch that you notice.

You should keep a bunch of warp totems for when your inventory is full, then you can just warp to the farm and back

im a bit late for this advise to be read but hording all your stuff to get more money later will only make it that much harder to progress early game fish eggs and the like are easily replaced and are better used making money now
