People have some interesting thoughts about why Maker didn't take out Black Panther, and about Killmonger's axe being Jarnbjorn, but I think the axe is one of Shango's twin axes. He's the Orisha of thunder, lightning, fire, dancing, virility and justice, making him the closest in the Yoruba religion to Thor in the Norse pantheon. Which I think plays into why BP wasn't removed by the Maker, and considers why Thor was in captivity instead of dead. The way I see it, the Maker cannot directly remove everybody from the board to achieve his version of Earth. Sure, he has tme travel access and powerful resources, but he's not going to spend 1000yrs (relative to him) going back and forth through time to get rid of everyone who was an Avengers or FF member. Instead, some solutions just required engineering a problem for some of them that would tie them up or make them an asset to him. T'Challa himself is but one of many in a line of BPs, so the focus almost would have to be on taking away the practice of having BPs, and/or stopping the Vibranium meteor from ever landing (or being discovered), and maybe that messes with what Bast would have wanted. Instead, engineer issues between the gods of the African continent in a similar move to aiding Loki's ascension to the throne. By pitting Ra and Khonshu's thirst for followers and power against Bast (and possibly several Orisha, including Shango), Maker gets all the gods tied up amongst themselves in a way that keeps their avatars out of his affairs. Basically, whatever world Maker wants to achieve, he isn't against it having a Wakanda in it, just not one that would be battling him directly. Its existence also allows Ra and Khonshu to have challenges as well that kept them in check while allied with him. Now that he's gone, they're probably just ramping up what they would have wanted. Keep in mind that Maker's outcomes included having Hulk, mutants, and other significant groups allied with him, not all dead or depowered.

The intrusion and bomb, the act of aggresion would absolutely have served the same purpose. I loved the interaction of father and son. I think the reason the Maker didn't factor in BP/Wakanda because in the original Ultimate Timeline black panther and I believe wakanda weren't a thing. In that universe Captain America dressed as BP for the first several issues. T'Challa was never introduced. If they did exist, they remained hidden.

The black panther of the previous Ultimate universe was a mutant that could not speak and was held by The Us Government. Wakanda was not recognized as A technological power to my knowledge. The King of Wakanda sent Ta Challla to the U.S. to save his life with,epically procedures.
