No oncologist in his right mind would approve a facelift to a cancer patient getting chemotherapy. That patient would have a compromised immune system. A compromised immune system would make it too hard for the surgery to heal. The body would be trying to heal the facelift and also trying to fight the cancer. Very dangerous ! Cancer - or any other potentially life-threatening illness - changes your perspective on life because you are forced to consider and perhaps prepare for situations you hope will not happen but which you absolutely can not ignore. Survivors can become broken by the trauma, or utterly fearless because they have fought and beaten the many-headed monster. Challenges that might normally cause you to worry become mere nothings beside the ones you've faced. Pettiness in any form vanishes from your life, and it can be difficult to retain your patience with those who display it. She should focus on getting better. Chemo is tougher for some, than for others. I myself was lucky, and could work as usual, except the Fridays I had intravenious chemo. Because my eyes those days suddenly had fluid bursting out of them, which both was painful and reduced my eyesight temporarily, anything from driving to walking stairs became dangerous. Because of the reduced immune defense from chemo, you cannot wipe your eyes with your hands - you have to use a clean tissue. Chemo also takes the energy out of you for a long time. I spent 4 hours over two days cutting a hedge I normally cut in 20-30 mins. Than there are the permanent side effects of the chemo. Again I was lucky, except from a little numbness under my feet I don't have any. Some have not only their feet numbed, but also their hands, and can't even button a shirt without the aid of specialized tools. Than there is the risk of return. After 2.5 years last check up in August a small tumour was discovered on my lung. The good news is that it can be removed with ease - the bad news is that it is no point of doing that if it has "relatives" elsewhere in my body. A scan in November will provide the answer. I don't know how many side effects, or how much energy loss, the chemo has inflicted on the Princess of Wales. But one thing I do know, is that getting back to speed after chemo takes time, so she should primarily be thinking about her own recovery, and her family now. Now is not the time to do much of anything, other than to focus on her recovery being supported by her family.

Professor what came out clearly from that video is where Williams focus has been and where it must remain ie on his immediate family - his wife and children. We do not know that journey he has been through these last 9 months supporting his very sick wife and trying to uphold and support 3 children that must have at times been absolutely frozen in fear at the prospect of loosing their mother and especially George who is the eldest. Hello, Professor. This video is quite moving and it's a new stage in the era of royal transparency. Being exposed to so much scrutiny and conspiracy theories may not have helped the Princess, but she looks determined to stay optimistic. On the other hand, I know more ordinary people who are battling the disease (one of them had a seriously life-threatening tumor) and are more active. Many don't have other choices and cannot afford a long leave. I wish the Princess all the best, but I tend to also consider the less fortunate. 😐😌

Cancer does effect people differently and chemotherapy is horrific to deal with. It left me bedridden 5 days out of 7 because between the day long injection sessions of the chemo, and the cocktail of pills I had to take I was in so much pain. So being unavailable for much of her duties between abdominal surgery and chemo does not surprise me. The doctor would have given her restrictions because of recovery from the surgery as to what she is allowed to do. For several months after a mastectomy surgery I was not able to attend most of my normal chores , and unable to lift more than a few pounds weight. So all the speculation and criticism of either Princess Catherine or King Charles cutting back on royal duty because of the cancer only makes the British tabloids and people look rather petty and not compassionate at all.

No lessons have been learned. The video was very artificial and devoid of the love and sincerity it was supposed to portray. Wm looked very uncomfortable with the affection. Some of the video were old . Why is Catherine never allowed to speak in real time? There’s always something very sinister and insincere lurking in all of these. 😢😢😢
