I have had this Golf MK8 for several months. I am delighted 💟 , it is really comfortable and well built. It’s less flashy than the 7 in my opinion. It’s almost a premium car 👍. A very good choice !

so much negativity about the mark 8 i personally love it❤, i chose the life trim so i can get decent size wheels 16" comfort is my top priority and wont notice the lack of multilink suspension 👍regretted vuying sportier trims in golfs in past because of the ride quality, It certainly handled better than the mark 7

The clutch on this car comes up super slow (1.5 130ps model) Is this just one of the car’s characteristics?

its a characteristic of the clutch delay valve that this car has. You can easily remove it, there are several youtube guides.
