@@JacobCappello I don't think it is now. And it just seems weird to pay more a year for skins than I do to VRC for the actual mods. (Do the skin makers get a reward for downloads? I guess that would make it seem a bit fairer).

@@weswheel4834 It is free, you need to scroll down and select the free option (it's quite hidden). Also RaceDepartment isn't only for skins, there's plenty of free high quality tracks and car mods

FA23 is the best Formula Mod I've ever experienced, I'm curious about this especially with the new setup preparation. It may be more accurate but sounds like complicated for track to track for fine tuning. Then, you have different dash in the wheel screen right? Because the default one is a bit empty

Not strictly related to the video, but have anyone tried LInear Colour space CSP and Pure latest versions? It's incredible. I thought it was a slight difference, but the colour and the general ambient lighting are quite different, in a good way! Photorealism is even better in my opinion. Give it a try!

I'm a bit late to the party but thanks for this video. I've installed CSP, and the VRC formula alpha 2024 mod and a PPF which looks great but my car engine noise sounds really bad and nothing like this. Would it be the default AC F1 engine sounds? Do you have to enable this engine sound anywhere or should it simply run when you select the VRC car in content manager? I'm really stuck with this one and only new to AC and mods so any help would be greatly appreciated!

I bought both last year's models for the RSS and VRC F1 cars last year and I honestly like the way RSS drives better. I'll probably wait and see if they release a 2024 model as well. If not, I'll be sure to pick up the VRC model👍

RSS was definitely easier to drive last year, the FA2024 feels quite a bit easier to drive, so it’s more in line with the FH2023, id definitely recommend it!

@@JacobCappello I don't like it. Most of the time I'm racing in the dark and if I go off track I'm having to feel around and try to remember what the sequence is for what buttons. No there has to be a way to automatically start it. EDIT I will just have to use the non CSP version.

ok i havent tried it yet but as a racing driver it maybe because your locking your rear change your setup or dont break as hard. this is what i do in karting so if it doesn't work im sorry

That’s because you are NOT supposed to enable that extended physics checkbox. You really should only do that if explicitly instructed to do so by a mod. This mod already has extended physics features built in, and there is known issues when activating that check box for a lot of cars.

The FA2024 has substantially more system / simulation depth than the FH2023, so in that case yes, but we will see what RSS have for the FH2024, if they are making one. Usually they are very close and both on their own fantastic quality!

Why always the fastest car. Racing isnt good in them. A new F4 or F3 would me much better and could be used much more with better racing.

Because faster cars usually have more downforce and in turn more turbulent air coming off the wings / aero bits that cause a wake behind them that limits the downforce potential of the following car, making them slower and in turn harder to catch and pass
