DE actually using their game's potential for something. I'm hoping for more vignettes from other characters as well, the game can be so good when the player is actually grounded and vulnerable Also I have this horrible sinking feeling that the sentients are deliberately luring in grineer using weaker sentients as bait, to single out the grineer that are a viable threat and analyze what makes them a threat. Those Vay Hek transmissions might have been a ruse. They have no reason to weaponize grineer, so that leaves research, and if they learn something from that research then we're even more doomed

Yeah those Grineer soldiers on the Murex that Teshin and Ordis saw was pretty ominous. And I think it's more than that. It looked like Erra even abducted that Cetus kid. But I'm thinking more of mind-control. It looked like there was a device that spoke to Teshin telepathically. They even used the Corpus bots against the Corpus. Using the opponents' forces against them would be one hell of a power move when starting a war.

@@quantumblauthor7300 I'm not sure since when has Sentient controlling Corpus tech been the standard when it's usually the Corpus that has been studying the Sentient to further their tech. As far as I know, the Sentient weren't known for using tactics other than powering through with their ever-adapting forces. I just think that it's all one big scheme. Sentient suddenly controlling tech and abducting people rather than just trying to strong-arm through everything to get whatever it is they want. Maybe the real intent behind Scarlet Spear was like the Sentient testing the waters and retreating to think of a more effective way to do it. And I don't really think the Sentient need to study any of the other factions since they've always proven themselves to be stronger (besides the Tenno). It's the reason the Corpus started trying to incorporate the Sentient into their tech. Being the apex, it makes more sense to me if they were abducting for a completely different reason other than analyzing. Just my thoughts right now tho. I might have to revisit some WF history.

@@SenseofNoneYT the sentients got the upper edge in the old war because of how easily they could manipulate the Orokins' technology against them. Their ability to turn tech to their side was the whole reason the Orokin started research on using Infestation and creating warframes. It's why crude and archaic tech was so crucial in keeping them at bay; it was stuff too simple for the sentients to properly manipulate. As we saw in the New War trailer, apparently even something as simple as a high-yield grenade is enough for them to take over and shut off remotely.

@@quantumblauthor7300 I'm honestly not sure which Orokin tech are you talking about that the Sentients used against them. Wasn't it that the Sentients *were* the Orokin tech that turned against them? As I remember, the Sentients were almost unbeatable because of their Adapatation. And its only weakness is Void Energy. And the Tenno, using this as a weapon ultimately caused the defeat of the Sentients, courtesy of Space Mom, the Betrayer. Or am I remembering all these wrong? Been a while since I last played those quests.

I'd love it if this meant some form of playable corpus/grineer outside of the quest line going forward, almost like swapping frames but swapping factions somehow.
