The New Warframe, KOUMEI is Broken, but in a GOOD WAY!

I swapped Koumei's second ability with Harrow's Condemn. So I hit her 4, then condemn to hold them, then hit her first ability. Pretty much wipes out a room without weapon use from all the procs, and shields get helped from Condemn.

Few things I find a little misleading in this video: 1. Koumei’s 3 internal cooldown gets stopped by your shieldgate, meaning it is most certainly not a reliable way to survive. I would suggest Arcane Blessing if you don’t want to replace it with something more reliable. 2. Her 2 is far too random to be reliable in any mission, unless you are hours deep into an endurance (and that’s still not guaranteed to be good). You also don’t get any of the choice or benefits Duviri’s intrinsics offer, meaning if you roll useless decrees 5 times in a row (very easy to do) you’ve wasted all of that time for nothing and have to deal with the scaling cooldown. 3. She’s not broken in any sense of the word. Her 1 is only decent if you get the 3x6 roll, most of her 2’s decrees are way too specific (all of the rolling ones are just horrible), her 3 is worse than Revenant’s old 2 and her 4 is… not horrible but it has no synergies because her 1 only hits a single time since the enemies can’t move. 4. This one has nothing to do with the video itself, just what I see in comments on many posts. Koumei’s RNG being truly random is not good game design and there’s a reason many games with gambling mechanics have ways to get around it (Pazaak from KoTOR, for instance). Taking agency away from the player is a surefire way to turn them off from the content and considering the fact DE has released the past 5 (at least) Warframes with a non-RNG way to obtain them, I’m sure they know that already. 5. Koumei is a cheater, not a gambler. You offer her shrine offerings so she gives you the ability to change the fate of the Ostrons and kill the invincible Oni. She does not play fair, she plays to win. 6. I have nothing else to say I just wanted to have a sixth bullet point. …because Koumei.

Replace her 1 with Sickening Pulse instead. It's not amazing, but it has good synergy with her 4, and you can wipe out whole rooms with it. Overall though, I've found her quite unimpressive.

i think a fun augment for her 2nd would be to give a choice either a full 3 choices or a choice between 2 so its not as strong as duviri but you still have a choice and can attempt to get a decree build going. maybe an addition for the 3 6's is you get a choice between 3 or 4 decrees or 2 rare decrees.

Yep, it's super annoying. Even worse when you see a video saying a Warframe is broken, then you see them using a Torid the whole time. Every Warframe is broken when you hand them the best weapon in the game.

@@Shadow_of_Christ the frame is genuinely terribly designed, the cooldown between abilities is bad as hell and the decree challenges are horrible when you have to take care of objectives especially when going for level cap and stuff this frame has nothing that you might want in a mission. The decree can be broken but the chances are horrible and it doesn't even scale with strength. In conclusion dogshit frame needs changes and buffs.

@Coco-id2cx her 4th is terrible. It's a cone while caliban has the same kinda thing, but it goes behind him too. It should pull tye enemies arpart or something interesting. Her 3rd does jack. It never redirects the damage when you want it, never works when you want it to. Her second while very interesting and new is just an endurance survival tool. If you're not playing a 1 - to 2 hour survival, that ability is just dead. Her 1 is just a glorified epitaph that forces her into just a shooting waframe. And lavos exists as primer already, so that's just copy and paste. She needs dire help. She doesn't serve any purpose and adds nothing. And just the other fact of if you're unlucky, it ruins the game. The only thing she adds is just taking a risk of being unlucky. Make her 4 and 1 do some massive dange o. Their own and she would be fun. But it's just pick up your torrid and do what any frame can do

She just isn't good. She wouldn't even be a top 20 warframe. If you don't get good dice rolls and perfect decrees, she's one of the worst frames in the entire game. And NONE of her kit synergies at all. I love DEs creativity here, but her kit is horrible.

No they don't have. When you have it, you keep it until the end of mission. In fact, dying won't reset the decrees you acquired.
