The thing with you Christian is that you skip all the BS and tell the truth but at the same time show and tell the solution, which is very valuable!

I understand how to work with Git & Github. I am not using it because I am afraid to do shitty commits that: - have no clear endgoal - damage the codebase - can't be reversed - can't be completed in a timely manner I am also afraid that in a team, one teammate might overwrite my code by accident / on purpose (meet own goals). Not sure how to act then.

Hey man, I have a small question, i finished learning what i need for frontend and i'm starting to work on my final projects for my portfolio, I'm currently using firebase as a backend. My question is: should I continue like this or learn backend (node, express, and mongdb ) instead then look for a job? I just want to land a fulltime remote job i don't care if it's low paying

It took 2 years just to land the job I have. I am grateful just to be able to eat right now thanks to my job. I cannot afford to spend time doing much more than eating, working, and sleeping. Survival is all I can think about. Will I be able to make it until tomorrow. No time for interviews or job hunting again. My 24 hrs a day are slammed. :(

what's wrong with paying a designer to make a design for you which is gonna make you look credible?
@tm-nm5hk Жыл бұрын
@@cristian-florea-coding Breaking into the industry takes investment no doubt. Time & sometimes...money. Most people are switching over for the benefits of higher pay, flexibility, and better work environment. That being said, I personally do not have 500-1000 to spend on a designer for an app that is suppose to get me employed. Most Senior engineers I have talked to care more about the functionality of the app and the thought process behind the structural design/execution. If someone has taken the time to learn how to build the app, why not take the time to learn what makes a UX/UI look polished? Why not reach out to your network and see if someone who does design wants to contribute to your project for free? Or even use text to image AI (which is free) to get a 80% polished design. Nothing is wrong with paying a designer if you are a start up and your idea has potential for many practical use cases...but most people are looking for a paycheck. Just my view of things. There are no right or wrong answers here, just suggestions and results. Thank you for your content. 👍

Gotcha bro, thanks for clarification. You're deff right, engineers care about 'your skills', but showing a complete product, that works properly and looks properly it's gonna boost your results Thanks for watching
