The New WORST Collapse I’ve Ever Seen! The Chargers failed to win after leading 27-0 in the NFL wild Card round. Trevor Lawrence orchestrated an unlikely comeback after throwing 4 interceptions to start the game. Justin Herbert & the Chargers now have the 3rd worst blown lead in playoff history.

Shanahan has blown two Super Bowls in the same way. First one got him a promotion, the second time he kept his job. When amateurs (that only have a fraction of the knowledge these coaches apparently have) would be able to manage a game better, you have a major problem.

I have been following the Jags pretty closely over the past couple of seasons because I find teams in bad situations to be really interesting to follow, and because I have a friend who's a Jags fan. I was very excited for this game in particular because I was just shocked they made it to the playoffs after everything last season, and I really wanted to see them succeed. Watching that comeback felt like a microcosm of the entire past two seasons, hitting rock bottom only to make an insane comeback to prove everyone wrong. Jags fans deserved this win, and I hope they continue to see success in the coming games and seasons, they deserve some consistency for once.

Oilers v Bills playoff in the 90s was awesome. I was just a kid, a middle schooler who loved Tecmo Bowl and learned the game by watching it on tv as a latch key Gen Xer. Sustained concussions and torn ligaments playing in high school. Missed one game and ran chains with a swollen knee from what I guess was a MCL or ACL tear when I was 15. Remember running the 50/40/30/20/10/End zone sprints when we couldn’t do the practice scrimmage tackles bc one of us had a broken arm. I wish football were better regulated and we all wore Don Beebe helmets and Tv gladiator style pads so no one got hurt…well, fewer of us/them and there weren’t bloodthirsty cops on Facebook pooping on football players, announcers and EMTs when it happened. Oh America 😢 I’ll never let my son play football bc of this. I love football but I don’t want to see people die and suffer lifelong injuries to their physical and mental health for my entertainment

RUN THE BALL. I so agree…RUN THE BALL. You are right. Not running the ball was HUGH part of costing the Chargers the game. The Chargers played the second half of this game like they were behind. DESPERATION PLAY CALLING that we see when a team is behind trying any and everything to catch up, to score. What were they doing? RUN THE BALL…RUN TIME OFF THE CLOCK…but nay nay, Coach Staley’s play calling in the 3rd and 4th quarters was bad, just bad. WTF was he doing? The Chargers should have won this game but the Jags…wow, they played like it never occurred to them that they would lose. The Chargers played the game like they knew they would lose. Great video Brandon. Had to watch it twice to catch what I missed by laughing my first viewing. Thanks.

Pretty sure Herbert is the last problem on the chargers right now. Offence fell apart once the 3rd string left tackle and 3rd string wide receiver (who couldn't get drafted in the xfl) came onto the field. That with piss poor offensive play calling and a novice head coach made a recipe for failure. This game goes to show what a difference maker a competent head coach can make. The Jags and Giants pulled it together in 1 season with a good coach. The chargers were best with experienced coaching in my opinion. Marty Schottenheimer came to the chargers with experience and led the team to a 12-4 record and AFC West title in 2004. In 2006, Schottenheimer led the Chargers to a franchise-best 14-2 record, the league's best that year. Stubborn ownership fired him and the rest is history. Congrats to the Jags

As a jags fan, and I hate to say this, but this is when you need to have some sort of Titans type game plan. You don’t have to have Derrick Henry to try to do it. But you got to grind down the opposition with a running game and just punt and play hard defense. I’m not saying you’re giving up trying to score, but you are trying to kill off this game, especially with the double digit lead. Chargers had 7 Running Plays in the second half. That is absolutely embarrassing and on coaching..
