I've probably watched about 80% of the XFL/USFL/UFL over the last 3 springs and this was hands down one of the hardest games to watch. Sloppy play and inconsistent refereeing throughout. It felt like a week 1 or 2 game of two teams figuring out their systems, not the two consistently best teams of the season going toe to toe which it should have been! I really want spring football to be a permanent thing and no more new leagues every other year...but gosh darn it as Perna said this game did absolutely nothing to interest any new fans to come back next year that only caught this game. And lastly those empty stands were super embarrassing for the league! I went to both USFL championships at the HoF stadium in Canton, there were like twice as many people there. I get it STL had the best attendance numbers in the XFL(2020 &23), but that was a huge gamble to think either STL was going to make it before the season even started or STL fans would come out if the Battlehawks didn't make it(which they didn't and the fans didn't come) and it clearly didn't pay off. I think next year the league should consider putting the championship in a city that doesn't have a spring team, so no matter what teams make it to the game you aren't banking on a single fanbase to show out but instead it's a draw to all football fans.

In 43 games in the UFL. This was the least competitive all season. Which sucks. The overwhelming majority of games were one score affairs. Many coming down to the final play of the game. I'm sure many will make their snide comments about this league and say it doesn't compare to the NFL or high school football but that's doing a disservice to the players and football played all season. There were many fun games and outstanding plays. With all that said. F Chase Garbers and that slide. He should never get a start in any league ever again.

Most of the high schools in Birmingham get better attendance than the Stallions. But, most Birmingham area high schools have at least 2 or 3 future SEC or ACC players on their roster and there will usually be at least 3 or 4 future NFL players on the field on a fall Friday night. I remember watching George Pickens in high school and it was obvious that he was going to be a star. The UFL teams need to have some development camps or something to get interest going. There's so much football talent in Alabama and becoming familiar with the high school teams might pique some interest in attendance.

All the UFL needs to do is put players into the NFL. As long as a healthy amount of UFL players get signed into the NFL, the league can survive.

Imo the UFL will have a higher chance of success if they decide to do things DIFFERENTLY than the NFL. That means stop overly favoring offense, award other positions than QB for MVP, don't impose unpopular rules like banning the hip drop tackle etc etc. The UFLs kick return system did so well the NFL copied it! The UFL is mostly attracting football fanatics, rather than casual viewers so they really should design the league to be exciting for those types of people.

Honestly, they’re competing in the wrong market at the wrong time. Really they should’ve waited until after basketball season after hockey season just before baseball season really gets rolling and football just gets into training camp it kinda gets lost in the whole mix.

That was their first mistake they started during the march madness playoffs which already limits them viewers once that ended the NHL and NBA began with the MLB starting shortly after there's just too much sports going on for the UFL to find an audience they should've started the UFL at around late May and end it just before the NFL preseason while only the MLB is going on
