Real life courtroom dramas can divide an entire nation when it comes down to the verdict. Today we bring you what some have called the "Case of the Century" when a New York City man gunned down two youths in cold blood while riding the subway. Is he some kind of vigilante hero fighting back against crime, or is he a sick killer who premeditated this type of killing? You decide if this man is guilty or not after watching today's disturbing new video.

5 VS 1. If I was on the jury he would have gotten free with a handshake and a pat on the back. You don't need permission to defend yourself just the willingness not to be a victim. The world would be a lot safer today if they were more good citizens willing to defend themselves and others

I first thought of something different. A neighbor of mine had a very disfigured face after a mugging. He asked the kids outside his house to kindly turn down the volume and got beaten up and repeatedly kicked in the face and the rest of his body by a dozen teens resulting in many broken bones, permanent disfigurement and a crippled gait. The kids didn't pay a penny compensation.

@atlasferrara7418 3 жыл бұрын
@Trashley Only situation I could imagine someone justifiably getting a gun when they’re denied a permit is when they have a stalker or an active threat to themselves or their family. It all depends on why they were denied. If they’re denied because they have a violent past, they shouldn’t have a gun. There’s other means of defence that don’t require a gun. Knives, machetes, bows, tasers
@atlasferrara7418
@atlasferrara7418 3 жыл бұрын
@thcirblueerf It’s quite possible he was being paranoid, considering he had a traumatic experience beforehand. He needed therapy and self defence lessons, not a gun. Also I’d imagine that with training and a letter from said mental health professional would help him arm himself. Edit: Responding much later I mistakenly equated the subway shooter with my own example. One can be understandably concerned and still not require a gun for safety, especially if he was traumatised. Possibly having PTSD can cause him to react improperly to a non-threatening situation. I’m not saying he didn’t need to be concerned, I’m saying that he wasn’t mentally safe to keep the innocent around him safe from himself.

Crazy the cops put out thousands of cops to get someone killing muggers, instead of using those same cops to stop the muggings. I'm old enough to remember the years this happened and if you rode the subway at night you had a 50/50 chance of being mugged, and thousands of people were stabbed by these muggers. The man is a hero. And the whole "if the races were swapped" is not a good position to argue from. Regardless of whatever he thought or felt about other ethnic backgrounds doesnt change the fact that he was mugged 3 times prior. His wealth and income is irrelevant as well. Rich or poor, a mugging is still a mugging. In my oppinion he is a hero, and showed other would-be crims what can happen when society is pushed to the breaking point.
