I actually thought that the company had gone out of business. Me and my Dad each have one that we both love dearly. They're both over 30 years old and have been used to harvest some really awesome deer in their days with us! By both gun and bow. Heck I've even used mine to get a good amount of sleep when the kids were on somer break from school and I was working nights in a machine shop. Just go to my hunting area and climb a tree and go to sleep. It's like sleeping in my recliner with some peaceful nature sounds.😊

It was sold by the Hices, returned to them as the buyer could not/would not live up to their agreement, closed/bankrupt by the Hices brought back up by new owners closed down again, all this is from what I've read or heard.

@@SCHO4570 I actually have a video of Barbara Hice harvesting. And then Loading. And wheeling out a huge 6×6 Whitetail with her trailer/treestand all by herself. We do still have all of the accessories from wheels to pillows and racks. Everything. That treestand was actually invented for Barbara Hice by her husband Bob. We still have the videos. From Mfg & Sales to a few of them both hunting from their stands. My understanding was that when he got too old to carry on, he had no one to take over so he brought in this other guy. I actually have his new at the time catalog also. When the new owner got ahold of the company he changed a bunch of stuff and tried to produce a bunch of different types of stands and equipment and ended up messing up the name and going bankrupt. I have both videos and 1 catalog from each version of the company. Along with the two original treestands. Great family heirlooms. You can never leave them in the woods!!! I know this from experience! $700.00 stands in the late 80's!
