Oathsworn into the deepwood truly the best board game I ever played. Can't wait to back this although its not genre I played. I hope the undead takes inspiration from the night king in GoT

The desciption of the game sounds awesome and it is alot if you consider artifacts and creatures joining your army or eaten for power, the excalibur and green knight mechanic and than that you can summon overpowered arthur and mordred. Than there seems to be a lot of exploration which you see rarely in area control games. Wow! But there are two questions: 1. If exploration plays a huge role I assume luck plays a big role as well. Looking for artifacts or monster which are helpful but simply don't show up is somtehing I don't like in my crunchy 3h games... How do you handle this? 2. Just in the end Jaimie mentioned victory points. How do you get those? Winning battles, fullfilling the quests of the lady, building your settlements?
