We have the suburban tankless on our Holiday Rambler. It has its good and bad qualities. I would definitely recommend coupling it with a showermiser if your new rig doesn’t have it already. We had travel trailers previously with a standard hot water heater (our last was gas/electric) and we immediately noticed the difference. It just seems really finicky. Takes longer to heat up in the back of the motorhome but overall when it’s running all is good. We have found the best thing is to set the temperature to something you are comfortable with without having to mix cold water in. And then just run straight hot water in the shower. This prevents it from cutting out and getting cold. I know you guys don’t do a lot of Boondocking but me and my wife do and the showermiser is a definite must for that as you would waste a lot of water and fill your gray tank waiting for hot water. I haven’t really noticed an uptick in propane usage, but I don’t have anything to gauge it against. Our motorhome was a Hershey show purchase last year so it was in there- and looking back now if I was speccing out my own, I don’t think I would get the instant hot water heater again. Keep up the great work love your videos and your state. We visited there earlier in the fall and enjoyed it.

Nice resort and new camper. I pulled a travel trailer for years and now have a fifth wheel. I agree pulling the fifth wheel is a whole lot nicer but how was your experience with backing up the fifth wheel for the first time compared to the travel trailer? I could put my travel trailer into any spot I wanted to with ease and it was 39 feet but the fifth wheel a little different getting used too. It's 41 feet and I've been towing it for 5 seasons now and honestly I still feel the backing up is a whole lot easier with the travel trailer compared to the fifth wheel but that is the only downside to the fifth wheel. Good luck with your new rig.

This is in regards to the comment made about how slow the electric auto level is and how you could be hooking up the water and electric while it did its thing. We are brand new fifth wheel owners, and we are moving from a similar length horse trailer with living quarters (People definitely get less space than the horses! But they do make great toy haulers for ebikes and kayaks!) But I digress..... during our walk through, we were told that once you start the leveling process, don't touch the fifth wheel until it's done. So I was thinking about what you said about getting other things connected and think I will remove my hoses and power cord from the bay before I enter auto level. Then, I could get the park connections going while the trailer is leveling itself. Is this how you do it? Is there any other advice for the first timer? My LQ provided a lot of convenience, but this 5th wheel is on another level of sophistication with many systems that we have to learn! We bought the Montana High Country 295RL. Thanks for the tour of The Farm RV Resort. We also live in Kentucky, and this resort might be a great shakedown trip for us and also an easy local trip for taking the grands for a little camping trip. I'm sure they would love the pool. Was there a playground that I missed? We also travel with our ebikes (4 when we can, 2 Lectrics and 2 Rads), so now we have to figure out how that can be accomplished! Thanks for all your great videos. I really do enjoy them.
