Today I wanted to check out the latest Lynx bus route that goes from Orlando International Airport (MCO) to Disney Springs. The bus fare is $2 each way or you can get an all day pass for $4.50 but all fares have to be paid with exact change because none is given from the driver. There are three stops along the way so it usually takes an hour but might be slightly more depending on traffic. It’s a great, cheap option to get from the airport to Disney Springs and then you can transfer to a hotel using the bus system there and the only thing I really missed was the lack of Disney music during the ride. 😉 I’ll be back with my usual sunrise stroll tomorrow but this was a fun little side trip and it may give some of you another option for getting from the airport to the bubble! Take care guys and I’ll see you real soon! 💜V.

So that area where the bus stopped to let you off at Disney Springs. How far is that to the Disney bus area for the resorts? It looked like it was near Cirque du Soleil which is kind of far from the Disney bus stops.

Hi there Mike! 😃 I love going to the airport! Parking can be a real nightmare but I like doing my remote work there every once in a while since it’s so close. I messed up the footage of upstairs, I love the Hyatt lobby and there is so much comfy seating even when it’s nuts downstairs. They have an excellent bar and restaurant up there too… Oh I’ll do a Hyatt ResortPass and show the pool area and gorgeous private areas along with an airport tour sometime. I’ll wait till it’s just a little warmer so I can make good use of the pool. 💦 The bus ride was very nice although a little boring without the music. I had never ridden on one of the Lynx buses before and it was a great ride, now I’m eyeing a Brightline trip! 😉 There was just an article this morning saying how a Brightline route from the airport to Disney Springs could be as low as $4.00 and it would be so much faster! I’m glad that Orlando is trying to deal with its transportation issues.

Hi there Daisy! 🌼 I think luggage is ok if you can handle it, I’ve seen people with luggage often. I think one of my first shorts was a girl sitting on her luggage swinging back and forth… which is not a good endorsment for bringing luggage on board but it was funny. Chris and I are on a Brightline train headed to West Palm Beach right now because I wanted to see what it was like… and so far it is awesome! Not really for a video but just because. 😉

As I'm a New Jersey Transit rider in New Jersey. This is possibly the cheapest and most affordable way to get from MCO to Walt Disney World is using public transportation.
@wdwexploreandchill7 ай бұрын
Hi Frank! 😃 I think you are right, the main thing is dealing with your luggage since you can’t take them on the Disney buses but it sure is cheaper taking a Minnie Van or other ride share from Disney Springs to your hotel than one from the airport.

Hello Allen! 😃 First, thank you for the kind words and encouragement! I think live streams are fun to click on to sometimes when I’m home chilling but my vibe is much more laid back. I love you guys who love the chill are slowly finding me. Cheers to that. 😉 You can take your luggage and I see it more than you would expect! It’s not a great option for everyone but it’s definately worth looking into at that price. I hope more people can start using the city transit so it can keep improving! As we grow we will absolutely need more options. I’m looking forward to seeing where the Brightline will go… an airport line is being discussed either to Disney Springs or the Universal area.
@danielvandersall67567 ай бұрын
To compare and contrast, could you someday do a MinnieVan comparison? I believe that it's a flat rate. I think.😊 No luggage or alcohol of any type is permitted on Walt Disney World Resort buses. Perhaps the bus to Disney Springs, wait there until your room is ready, then a MinnieVan to your hotel? Some people have noted that the MVns are in high demand-- so watch out for surge pricing. If the MVns are high, look at the cost for a regular Lyft ride instead--could be much less. Did you know that if you were listening to the Eagle best of album and then Rumours by Fleetwood Mac that you were listening to the second and third best selling albums of all time?
@wdwexploreandchill7 ай бұрын
Hello Daniel! 😃 I was actually planning a MinnieVan video! I think a comparison is a great idea and thank you for letting me know about the rule about luggage on the disney buses. It does make sense or like Daisy said, things would get clogged if everyone did it for sure. I did not know that about those two albums but I’m not surprised, both of those greatest hits albums are at the top of my list. I was just letting my Pandora thumbprint radio do its thing. 😉

Great video V! A nice change of pace from ‘the bubble’, and a very helpful vlog for those coming from out of town to WDW. I remember riding the airport monorail way back in the day, and it is still ahead of its time. It’s unfortunate that it’s the only way these days to ‘ride up front’ like you did. As a native New Yorker, I can honestly say that MCO is one of my favorite airports in the country. I’m hoping one day they reverse ‘that’ mistake, and bring back the ‘Magical Express’ like they did with free parking at the Resorts. P.S. You can run girl! Those moves to the monorail, and the bus were straight outta NYC! 🏃🏻♀️➡️🛫🚆🚌🏰😃🍿

Hi there Scott! 😃 I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday! I have been in a lot of airports and I love experiencing different ones around the country but ours has always been my favorite. I wish I hadn’t cut out the last bit I recorded upstairs at the Hyatt but I’m going to go back and get a day room there with a ResortPass and tour the hotel and airport, I just want to wait until it is a little warmer for the pool so I can really enjoy it! Yesterday Chris and I took the Brightline to West Palm Beach just to try it and hang out there for a bit and it was a lot of fun, we are going down to Lauderdale next and I told him I also want to take a Jet Blue flight to Atlanta for the day so I can finally check out Terminal C. There is a diner there that I want to go to in Terminal C, it’s by Chef Art Smith who has Homecomin’ down at Disney Springs… Jet Blue is the only domestic line that uses terminal C so that’s what we’ll fly. Oh and I love the monorail from C to the main part of the airport, I had forgot until the last second that the view up at the very front is the best! 😂 As far as this video, I know that it isn’t a great option for everyone but I thought it was important to let people know that it’s available. Orlando is not known for its public transportation but they are making moves to improve and I want to highlight that when I can. 😃🥂🍿🧁🚝✈️🎟️🌴
