Newsfield publications were such a huge part of my teenage life. I owned a Spectrum, but loved Crash so much that I also bought every issue of Zzap! 64 (and Amitx!; and The Games Machine; and LM...) and read it cover-to-cover each month. They had that amazing way of coming over as a family with the reader being part of them. RIP, Oli and Roger.

I lived near to Ludlow for over 15 years and had no idea that it was where Crash came from until after I left.
