This banner made me scratch my head. The title of the video Nintendo labeled, the banner name. It appeared rushed to me. Then Say’ri didn’t have English lines. The final icing on the cake being the mythic hero. While the first three are themed to awakening. The mythic hero put this banner head over heals. Then again the title drew more question marks. Very interesting banner, surprised for sure. If Mustafa is demoted I’ll definitely go for a +10 build. Overall this banner leaves me just as confused as your reaction.

I think the weird structure of the banner is less because it is rushed and more because of the current situation going on with COVID-19. Because Japanese developers have to stay home for work, complications sometimes could arise from working at home compared to working at a studio. This could explain why Say-ri's English voice actress could not reprise her role on time because of the lockdown.

First, it is likely that they couldn't get Minae Noji in time to reprise Say'ri and her voicelines. Second, Mustafa is the demote indeed. And I don't really mind. A good inheritable weapon, looks like he'll have good defensive stats and his kit is not the worst thing they have released on a demote (Def Tactic is not bad, and Water Boost is mneh but easy to replace). The thing is, they didn't add a story chapter, or even a Xenologue, so it seems this banner is like the Binding Blade banner we got when Book 3 ended, but at least this time there is a GHB and Forging Bonds.

Right!?! Mustafa left a huge impression on me, with Awakening being my first game on the series when it released. He was legit a good guy, as we learn from his actions in his chapter and the Henry supports, but actually had a reason to not defect to you. His speech was heartfelt and he actually commanded respect from his troops, not forced them through fear like most of Plegia's generals!

For some reason, in the Meet the Heroes website, they added her as well. Normal, attack, special and damaged artwork, and her sprite with what looks like a Gravity staff (I might be wrong. I barely recognize the difference between staves in Heroes). So, with the update Emmeryn will be in the game. Just don't know how she will be obtainable. If as a Tempest Trial later on (doubt it, because they have Forging Bonds and a GHB in Gangrel), as a 3/4* predemote (again, doubt it with Mustafa being the demote in this banner too), or simply to give her out as a reward in a later point.

Awakening Anna, is a Lance unit, which is weird since she is trickster in Awakening, but the game is really lacking in infantry lance so no problem. I really hope Gangrel gets to be a trickster (these 2 units are the only trickster in the game), which means he has to come with the Levin Sword.

Mirabilis is gonna be a tanky red flier without much speed. Plus she'll be an excellent debuff support considering her weapon and Dream skill. Anna gotta go fast. Also first lance infantry we've had in AGES. Sayri is another speedy sword girl. Meh. Amatsu is interesting, basically the sword variation of Vouge. Mustafa, a properly interesting addition even if he is only 4 star. Also woot, Barrier Axe.

Technically, before Anna we got Dancer Berkut and Duo Ephraim, but both guys were limited time units, so I get what you mean (the first one in the permanent pool in a long time). Say'ri is not only a speedy sword unit. She's a speedy sword unit with DC (making her more of an enemy phase unit compared to Mareeta and Larcei, who are more player phase), and even when Kestrel Stance 3 is normally not the best skill for already fast units, the Guard effect and Close Call make it worth on her (she's using her Spd as a shield, and also blocking Specials). Mustafa getting shafted, well, no surprises here. At least he's going to be easy to +10.

Overall, not too shabby. When they announced Mirabilis, I was sold haha. I have enough orbs saved up to get a free summon, and she is my top priority. And that she’s sharing the red stone with Say’ri is fine with me, because she looks very strong too. But also too bad that there are no colorless heroes, because if I want to use the minimum orbs of 135 to get the free summon, I’ll have to summon on colorless too. Just want more Mercedes instead of pitybreakers.

Kinda. Say'ri looks cool, and knowing how awesome is Osian, she's going to be a pain in the ass (I say it because their roles are so similar. A Slaying weapon with DC over 50% HP and a tier 4 Stance skill, one with a Sword and one with an Axe), but I'm sure some bastard will only say "She's Kestrel Stance 3/Close Call fodder". Mustafa looks like a bulky boy, but being the demote, I can wait. Anna is an easy skip (everything she can do, Brave Eliwood can do it better), and I guess Mirabilis is worth a try if she's not going to be given away for free.

@@branlopgar I highly disagree on Brave Eliwood being able to do anything Anna can better tbh. Brave Eliwood can't get Close Call/Repel but Anna can, and she looks fast as hell. In fact, of the units that actually have access to those skills, she seems like the only lance unit fast enough to use those skills consistently. The two perform different roles. I don't think you can say one invalidates the other, especially as they're both different movement types

I just really hope we get mirabilis for free. I don't see any other reason they would put her on a banner and not wait for next mythic (or even have just put Mila on next mythic and had her this mythic) but having a free bulky flier dancer sounds really good.

Honestly I'm perfectly fine with Mustafa getting shafted. It just means I'll have an easy time +10'ing basically the only enemy in awakening that I could actually sympathize with. He definitely messed with 10 year old brain when I originally played it. Lowkey hoping the same for my boy Iggy.
