I don’t think people in here know how big this young man can be. Edgy, knows English, good looking, and has style. The skill level goes without saying. Also he is a fly weight. That division needs a star. I love seeing the new generation of fighters come up. Thanks for the video. I knew very little about him until now.

Knowing english is easily one of the most beneficial skillsets from a promotion side point for top tier UFC/MMA fighters. It's why people like Shavkat are so under the radar even though he's arguably had a harder ufc career start than someone comparable like Khamzat. And personally Mokaev has had an easy 2 first fights too, and gordon will be a walk in the park as well. I'd have much rather see him match up with someone like Albazi. That whole division is mediocre anyways both Albazi and Mokaev should already be fighting ranked fighters.

He's gonna be a good contender to possible title contender in the future at that division, but at this current moment his striking isn't that crisp and he hasn't fully grown into his body yet reminds me of Max Holloways body earlier in his career, still young but you can tell its the reason he gets some of his takedowns stuffed as some of these guys are stronger, but with time he'll be pretty legit that is if he can take a loss well cause I do see him losing a fight at some point

Apart from this guy being a real deal in his weight devision in mma, his English could be a lot better, especially his accent, as a young boy coming to UK, and attending school and even college! I'm just saying this as a former English teacher "basics only" and as an Afghanistani who's fled war from one country to another, and had to deal with different dialects of Persian language and of course other languages on my way to Europe, while I was already around 21 or 22 years of age. But, any ways, he can speak English and we understand him well without a translator. I apperciate him for choosing the right path, for that 😉
