When Hans composed the original version of this, he said he thought of what it meant to be a father. And when he told Christopher Nolan this, Christopher responded with "Now I know what the heart of the story will be". This makes sense. Because before I had kids and watched this movie, I definitely thought it was amazing. But after I had kids and watched it again, it hit me much more emotionally.

I watched the movie for the first time yesterday. All the emotions I went through is unlike any movie I've ever seen before. Hans Zimmer is truly a genius. When I was 17 I was in a play. On the day of the play, in the final scene the lights went out and we didn't know what to do. We kept going because we didn't want the show to stop. One by one we saw the audience members light up their torches. The final scene was performed with lighting from everyone's phones. It was one of the most magical moments of my life. Things are very different for me now but I found this video and the interstellar soundtrack already was astounding this performance took me back to that moment 6 years ago and I cried my eyes out. It took me through time and I will always be thankful.

After it finished, we literally looked at each other and said this is the greatest movie of all time.
