Of all those amazing cars, the one that gets my heart beating the most is actually the Testarossa. It's been my favorite car since I was a kid. Used to draw them all over my school notebooks. Sad to know that a number of years back, you could get one for $50k.... but I didn't have $50k then. Those days are gone now.

The f40 was delifverd in 1989 november to kroymans. Than in 1992 it was converd to racespec. In 1995 it was upgradet with 700hp and airjacks and lots more upgrades. Most famous for racing in the ferrari porsche challenge

Same here, but as older 911 GT cars and Turbos start to go up in value, they have grown on me as well. Almost bought one before I came across the 997 Turbo I just picked up, but I still think I should have went for the 996. It is usually the undesirables that go up the most in value it seems.

You have to look at the iconic cars from the early-mid 2000s. In the US it was the 03-04 SVT Cobras, the LS cars like the SS & WS6, early 996 GT3s & GT2s, manual 355s, 360s, 430s. Obviously the mk4 Supra, clean FD RX7s, skylines, evos etc. Yes they aren't limited numbered cars but the clean examples will only go up in value in my opinion

Sorry Chevettes will always have the stigma of being the mid-life crisis divorced loosers car built in Kentucky by hill billies bought by people desperately trying to have some significance in their lives through an material object that self dilutes the owner into thinking that some how its "special". There's a reason why two C7 owners died in their cars, because they were too stupid to know that handle on the floorboard they step over everytime they get in and out the car WILL open the door when the battery goes dead. Thats the gene pool of corvettes owners, the modern day automotive equilivent of Darwin award winners.

I think that some of the early 2000’s cars with single clutch transmissions will someday bring value. It’s not a manual transmission of course but they give you a different experience than a dual clutch. Like the 430,360, aventador just for examples

Having watched the channel and other content, I've come to the opinion that the next generation of cars to chase (or hold if you have) is starting to focus on the transition to more technology making decisions for the driver. Obvious is auto vs. manual but I think if you get deeper into the evolution of suspension, steering, driving modes at the flip of a switch, you'll find pro/con arguments. I think large leaps forward into what are now industry standards might be worthy market trends. Scarcity will always drive collectability and value. I prefer to look at mechanical or performance scarcity over cosmetic 'exclusive' paint and interiors. Ed Bolian did a great video recently on most bang for your buck options (slick top Porsches FTW!).

i would guess the countach wont meet minimum est of 1.5, more of a 1.1 - 1.2 car don't think it will be more than that as the car wasn't a big part of the film... no proof it made it to the final cut... and leo didnt own it. i googled the movie and the first thumbnail showing the countach was about 65th result - the only other beofre that was a youtuber with the smashed up one from the movie. but hey, ya never know.

I dont think there is going to be just 1 hot spot for the next collection of cars to buy. There is probably going to be many. For starters anything manual and has performance like special Corvette's,Vipers and Porsches. The years really dont matter. The market that i think is totally untouch is the JDM more regular cars with special engines. Im not talking Supra's and Skylines. Im talking Chaser's, Stagea's, Legacy's, Cosmo's stuff like that, more obscure. Yes they are costing more and more now BUT if you look into it. Some of those JDM cars has crazy history, prestige and very VERY low production numbers. MUCH less than Supra's and Skylines. Heck the eunos cosmo there was under 9000 ever made! And to add more to this the 90-94 NA Subaru Legacy Turbo they made around 8200 of them and the engine in the turbo model is the base for the legendary 22b. The 22b is a 300k car all day long. So ya in JDM land you can still buy an absolute hero car without the hero body. And yes im very bias. I own 2 1993 Subaru Legacy Turbo's and a 1995 Corvette ZR-1.

I really think the next Porsche 911 kind of Collectable hype will be the classic original Austin Mini Coopers, Or Morris Mini Coopers. As many as they made, the original shells with matching numbers are getting harder and harder to find. Additionally, I think value could be found in the ones with original matching numbers or if it’s well tuned. There’s already a huge following and community for the car. Lastly, they are one of the most famous pedigrees in early racing history. Today you could find them as cheap as 8k, as a full fixer or as high as 40k great condition.

I think the 996's will gain a other ⅓ in value within 2 years. Within 3 years, the gated R8 manual V8 cars will increase by 25-30%. But the biggest demand will be for 930's and 718 GTS or S Porsches. 2008+'s Cayennes that still retain the V8 will see a rise in price. Especially manual ones. Ferrari: 360 will decrease in value. The 430 and especially the 430 Scuderia and the 355 will increase by 25%. The 458 will increase by 15% until they are back at 330k where they will hold, wheras the 488 Pista will see a 30-40% increase in price. The FF and GT4C Lusso 12, not the 8, will increase back up in price to just 20% below what the car cost new. The Purosangue will cause people to seek out those 2 models for a while. Lamborghini: The Countach and Diablo cars are going to go down in value. The Murci manuals, early Aventadors, and the 1st gen Huracans will see a 25-35% increase in value. The Gallardo, especially manual cars will go north of 500-700k within 2 years. I see a resurgence in people wanting Gallardos and Murcis. As Gintani continues to develop their V12 Twin turbo kit, it will make those Aventadors even more desirable. The Huracan will become valuable because they early ones can be bought and made into cheaper versions of Sterratos. McLaren: 720S, 620R, 675LT with the roof scoop will all increase in price by at least 35%. The 750 will drive demand for the 765 down. As Tavarish puts the 720S engine in his car, plus Mat Armstrong and Rich Rebuilds are both doing 720S rebuilds, those cars will continue to appreciate. BMW: All the M cars built from 2003 to 2010, M5 and M3's will increase in value. The E30 will no longer be seen as the most desirable. The 2015 M2 will be another in demand car. Mercedes: Early G wagons will see a huge price increase. The GLS 43, the E63 and the GLC 53 will see significant price increases within 5 years. The surprise cars will be the Maserati MC20, Alfa 4C, and 2015 Land Rover Defenders. Also Dodge Challenger SRT and Hellcats will within 10 years will be selling for 50% higher than the current market price. I also think the 2 seater Jaguars from the mid 2010's will be in high demand among collectors within 5 years. The Mustang GT500 in black with gold racing stripes, in Twister Lime with black stripes, White with blue stripes and grey with black stripes will see a huge demand for those specific cars. The Gen 2 Ford GT will approach 2 million within 2 years. Manual R8's and RS7's will be highly desirable again. Once the manual conversion for the Nissan R35 finally comes out, those cars will also be wanted again.
