If Goku or Vegeta were ever to get too old, who could replace them? One of the hybrid Saiyans like Gohan, Goten, or Trunks? One of the Saiyans for Universe 6? That's what we'll be discussing today!

@@StanTheBland true That's why I feel gohan should be the 1 training him Not just in strength and technique but principles as well Gohan learned to curb that rage and can teach broly how as well, plus, gohans way of being is calm and gentle just like broly so gohan would be considerate of him and teach him not only fighting, but how to live as well. I see gohan getting broly to the point where he can take broly to conferences in a whole custom suit(not too tight and changed to suit broly) and letting broly listen in on the convo. Even going so far as to introduce broly to the family might put the idea of him wanting 1 into his head. Then we get the "son of the legendary super saiyan" movie.

I say future trunks Is more like broly than gohan as we saw against cell he really buffed up and these is scenes where looks like his going bresk kind of through rage and anger you can see this in ssj rage form bases around anger and torment

Goten and Trunks would be awesome lead roles. Since they’re still adolescent have a lot of character and design potential. It’d be awesome to see long haired Trunks again and a different Goten design (probably something similar to GT Goku, but slightly different hair like the Heroes saiyans). Since Gotenks knows how to use SSJ3, they can perfect it in one of the first arcs, possibly growing out their tails like GT Goku and Vegeta.

My theory of why Goten and trunks look like they haven't grown is due to maybe the Saiyan's enhanced youth however I believe the more they train the more they mature as with Gohan that happened after a year of training in the hyperbolic time chamber he grew up in height and maturity . It also explains why future trunks when Gohan died and current trunks were the same age but current trunks is younger looking .Future trunks was training with Gohan extremely for the Androids

Goten is the best pick in the buu saga when chi chi died, goten got very angry. All he did wanted to do was avenge his mother and got very motivated to train (even catching up with trunks and possibly surpassing him for a brief period).

I wanna see goten get ssj2 in a dramatic situasion. Lets say cell comes back with his golden form. Goten sees goku and vegeta get beat by golden cell. Goten becomes ssj2. Of course he cant beat golden cell. But he does gains a power boost from his anger. And from ssj2. He is able to distract cell with trunks in his mastered ssj1. Just enouth for goku and vegeta to do the fusion dance. ( lets say cuz they dont have the earrings rn) and when goku sees gotens power in ssj2 he belives that goten has a bunch of potential. And vegeta sees that goten is surpassing trunks so and he dosent want the next generation of his family to get surpassed by gokus next generation of his family so vegeta trains his son . Lets say goku teaches goten ssj3. Then goku trains with goten at whis. So on goten gets ssjg. And trunks does the same but insead of ssj3 he learns ssj2. He complains that goten has ssj3 but vegeta says that ssj3 is kinda useless cuz it drains a huge amount of ki. And teaches trunks final flash and then he goes to whis so trunks can train effectivly. Trunks gains ssjg. But goten gets ssjgssj( super sayian blue) and then goten just trains his base form. While trunks finnaly get ssjgssj ( super sayian blue) then trunks chalenges goten. Goten wins cuz he has a stronger base form and they both were using super sayian blue. Goten trains with goku ( right now goku has mastered super sayian blue) goten also gets this form after months. Gohan right now is still training his ultimate form with the kais. Goku goes to gohan and tries to teach him ssj3 (so gohans ultimate form gets stronger) ( sorry it war long)

Cabba, Caulifla, and Kale are (in my opinion) the best thing to ever happen in Dragon Ball Super. Young Saiyans from a different universe, and have wicked power and potential. They should come back in the future one day.

I have a reason why they don’t age. For goten it’s because he has goku genes back in dragon ball goku didn’t really age until it the end of dragon ball. Trunks the same thing because we saw kid vegeta before and he was small or maybe even smaller. That explains why trunks and goten are small because they got their father genes. Goten I think is 13 and trunks is 14. So once they like 15 then they should start growing

Mark Satan will be the next main character... no doubt about that... but sersly, if they ever need to replace them. i dont see it really working out unless they get the proper delelopment... and after all, they have 30 years at least before they get to that point in a sayians life where they are out of there prime. I would like for Gohan to take it from goku, but i dont think he would because of his character, like you said. 30 years in dragon ball could go by SUPER fast or slow depending on how they right the arcs right after the moro arc... and if they do put some sort of time skip in after that arc, i think goten and trunks will get the needed change.

Dragon Ball next generation I think the main focus would be goten cabba kale and caulifa. Goten because he has the same or similar personality to Goku there both carefree guys who love to fight eat and train but goten and cabba is like the same as Vegeta but he is a bit nicer as for kale she as the same personality as broly both are calm on the outside but once the rage the lose control expect kale can control her ssj berserk and califua who has the same-day fighting spirit as Goku but a but of Vegeta and Android 18 personality also side next generation Gohan and future trunks with kid trunks

Given the fact Toriyama has demonstrated time and time again, he does not want to give up Goku and replace him with a new character. I don't think it's likely we'll see Goku get replaced and a new character take over and the series to continue. I mean sure it might happen when Goku Vegeta and Broly enter their 80's. However, Toriyama has tried multiple times to replace Goku but he keeps changing his mind at the last minute. Gohan and Goten were intended to be replacements but Toriyama decided against it. If it does happen it'll most likely coincide with an official end to the series. At least the Saiyans are not well and truly gone like when once thought with the inclusion of universe 6, and as long as the Saiyans stick around I'm happy.
