I’ve listened to this episodes a few times now. Love it fellas. Thanks heaps. I’ve got a couple of questions though. 1. If we are into the winners curse part of the cycle, why not wait until late 2026/ early 2027 to sell your Sunny Coast props? Still could get some good growth there over the next few years. I’ve got a couple on the Sunny Coast and Gold Coast too so looking to sell a few around that time. What are the risks of holding on until 2026/2027 to sell? 2. If we know that we will get interest rate cuts over the next year or so, then interest rate increases during the next ‘crash’, could an option be to fix your rates for 3-4 years during the cut phase allowing us to ride the crash with better cashflow? Perhaps if you’ve got a few props, fix a couple of the properties and then go variable with offsets for 1 or 2 of them for that liquidity? Love your work.

Can you guys do a video on your family history! Most people aren’t born into families that teach their kids about investments and money. Wealth creates wealth- low socio economic families are stuck purely because; lack of education, resources and support. What about your place in the world opened your mind to the game of property investment? Were your parents savy, you mentioned your parents in the 80s buying homes… would you say that you come from generational wealth? Did your grandparents own houses too? Would you encourage this type of marketing and property education in schools!? What would you teach young teenagers about?

Legends boys. Loving the depth of conversation here. How are my friends and family not obsessively interested in this stuff. It's so critical! Cheers Hugh

Don't tell to many people about these books.... these books are worth the read half way through Phil Andersons book. Great recap of the cycles and the impact it had on OZ property.

Awesome video boys! One thing I’d like to ask about is how will cost and access to trades/building supplies be impacted during a GFC. I have a block of land I want to develop at some point in the future but I’m not too sure when is the best time. Cheers!

Thanks for the comment Ruby, builders are usually pretty desperate for work during these times and are therefore more negotiable on price as they need the work. I don’t think you have any concerns. If anything, it would be a better time to build during a GFC if you’re in the position to do so. Good luck!
