3:04 This actually rung a bell to an idea I have for the Monsterverse that can bring in Kiko, depending on when they wanna set this plan of Kong wifing up a Female Kong and having a blood-related child of his own (who could be Albino-furred like Kiko), we could potentially see Kong raising two sons, as Suko becomes an older brother and Kiko embarks on a journey to become the King of Hollow Earth, maybe we could have a story with this concept following the premise of Disney’s Onward as Kong supposedly goes missing and it’s up to Suko and Kiko to find and bring Kong back to civilization, being both a coming of age story and a tale of adventure that can show us more of Hollow Earth than GxK might, possible introducing different biomes and realms of Hollow Earth that could be the Nine Realms to Kong’s Norse Saga as a Kratos-like character.

Also a good time to flesh out his relationship with the other Titans maybe even giving him a best friend/right-hand man Titan (I imagine Rodan or Anguirus could fit nicely here) and giving him more character development just in general with his thoughts on humanity and being the protector of the balance and how that weighs down on him. Maybe go into his backstory a little in this hypothetical Godzilla movie and build upon why Godzilla hates the Kongs, how his feelings are on being the last of his kind and even showing some of how his kind ended up dying. It is possible to build out Godzilla's character a lot in these films. In general, I also feel that the MonsterVerse needs to steer Godzilla back to how he was as an honorable samurai-type character in G14 and KOTM as opposed to just being an angry animal as he is in GvK and GxK)

I agree with you on everything you said, Kong definitely deserves another solo film. Another Godzilla solo could probably wait as Legendary has to follow Toho's rule of giving Godzilla a break for a few years so that they could make their own Godzilla universe before Legendary can make another Godzilla film. I wouldn't mind seeing a Mothra solo film either, her solo film could consist of what she's doing after GXK. Whilst we're getting a flashback of the Titan War in this film, I would love to see a movie of what happened beforehand agreeing with your point there. As for Rodan, I'd love for him to get used again as well as he's mainly been in the comics lately as a cameo, so seeing him on screen again showcasing what he's been doing after KOTM would be nice. I would also love a Ghidorah solo movie as well since in the Monsterverse lore, it's been confirmed that Ghidorah has his own species as well, so it'd be interesting to see what Ghidorah and his species was like before he came to Earth.

@IceGodzilla619I disagree actually. If you take a look at the history of Mothra and the impact she's had on the Kaiju genre I honestly think a Mothra solo film would do pretty good. Not as good as the highest grossing of this universe, but still pretty good. Mothra has a massive following in Japan still and a lot of people in the West are becoming more interested in her character because of movies like KOTM and other MonsterVerse movies that feature her. You could do a Godzilla/Mothra movie or (hell) even a Mothra/Rodan buddy-cop movie which would amp the profits even more

They could easily make a smaller-scale Mothra/Rodan movie and I really do believe that movie could still be profitable. @IceGodzilla619That was mainly due to it coming out at the same time as Endgame and many other much bigger movies or cult classic remakes. If the film had come out after Endgame left cinemas, I reckon it would have done better. Although even past that, my point wasn't that they should be like KOTM going forward. My point was that we need to combine KOTM and Kong: Skull Island in order to make a genuinely good MonsterVerse movie. Think about this for a second: when people talk about the most memorable moments of the MonsterVerse 99% of the time they will bring up something from KOTM because the directing and cinematography of that film were just that good. The only thing that flopped hard was the story. In a similar fashion, we bring that type of cinematography and the tone and atmosphere of those movies (where the stakes and world feel darker and more serious) and we combine it with the good writing and characterisation seen in Kong: Skull Island.

I came up with a way to as how Kong could get his lightning powers in the Monsterverse. My idea: Kong dies fighting a major threat to the Hollow Earth. He then gets resurrected by the Hollow Earth energy/radiation ( similar to what happens to Bumblebee in Rise of the beasts )this then evolves Kong's biology and gives Kong his lighting powers. The Humans then create a device that lets Kong practice control over his lightning powers and once he does " tame " his lighting powers he no longer needs the device. Kong's lightning powers could not only look cool but could also be used as a support ability where it amps Kong's speed , strength , stamina , durability and endurance.

I would love for the villain of the next Kong movie to be a 600 foot tall titan from the Hollow Earth. Giving Kong the biggest challengle he's ever had. Hopefully Kong would have his lightning powers in this movie after the events of GxK:TNE. This new titan could also be related to Skar King. Like his father perhaps. And you could say that this 600 foot tall ape titan was the actual Alpha of the ape species, going into the war against the Godzillas. You could even show a flashback scene where a young Skar King and his father (the 600 foot tall ape titan) in battle against the Godzillas. Leading an army of battle hardened apes. Chimpanzees, orangutans and gorillas.

I think it’s best for Kong to have a film next. Considering everything that’s gonna happen in GxK it only makes sense. But if their gonna do that they need to do it right. And the first step to doing that is NOT making the next villain a world ending threat again. That has already been done to death and I think we need to take a break from it. Make it personal to Kong and show new conflicts he has to face now that he’s the king of the hollow earth. I also want Godzilla to get a solo film too. The way he’s written has many flaws and they should use this film to at least fix some of them. The first one is his actual characterization. In GvK and what looks like in this film, Godzilla just seems like a flat character that can only react to everything around him with anger. I really want that to change, I want him to be more like what we saw in 2014 where he actually stopped and processed a situation instead of just running in there all pissed off. The second thing they should fix is how OP he is. Godzilla has all of these abilities and statements that make him the strongest titan by far. And this makes you wonder why we even have movies of him fighting another powerful titans if we know he’s gonna win eventually, it should always be IF he’s gonna win because steaks are important in these films. Now the way I would fix these problems is have Godzilla fight a strong and cunning opponent that again, isn’t a world ending threat. Godzilla would get beaten by this opponent over and over again, and it might even use a special ability to weaken Godzilla and remove some of his abilities. Then in the final confrontation Godzilla finally learns that he can’t brute force his way through this threat and actually has to think logically to finally win. This would seriously humble Godzilla and make him a better character with more potential moving forward.

I feel like the next couple of monsterverse movies should be like this: After whatever fight happens in GxK, all titans go their seperate ways and then… Mothra: Queen Of The Monsters After GxK, Godzilla somehow disappears from all Monarch radars, satellites, whatever so the Queen has her spotlight now. The monsterverse can introduce a toho original monster, battra for mothra to fight. Godzilla x Pacific Rim: The Breach After GxK, Godzilla found its way into a breach crossing over into the pacific rim universe. Godzilla could fight the jaegers and kaijus and later team up with the jaegers. The monsterverse can introduce jet jaguar in this movie but instead call it “Jet Jaeger”because of pacific rim. Kong: King Of Hollow Earth Monsterverse needs another solo Kong movie 🦍. Also just like the video says, give him his electricity powers, he needs it, its cool, it pays homage to the original, and its Kong 😎🦍⚡️. Monsterverse could probably introduce a new original titan for kong to fight. Destroy All Monsters Well the title says it all, lol. This movie can go anywhere but should have lots of monster fights. Godzilla, Mothra, Kong, Rodan, Behemoth, and other titans all in action. But then the real big bad is Destoroyah, of course created by the oxygen destroyer from KOTM. Destoroyah fights and kills Biollante then Mothra And bare with me but the Big G And Kong should also die in this one too, like a big sacrifice to take out Destoroyah. Son Of Kong Title says it all, lol. A movie of the son of kong and how everything is after the events of Destroy all monsters on The surface and Hollow earth. The Monsterverse can introduce a Bear like Titan, paying homage to the Original Son Of Kong. Godzilla Returns You gotta restart the series, how? Titanus Doug hyper evolved into Godzilla, thus restarting/rebooting the monsterverse. Rodan: The Fire Demon Movie could be he fled the fight against Destoroyah and since Godzilla, Kong, And Mothra Are Dead (Mothra Not Really), This Makes Rodan act like An Alpha in a sense (For Now) since Son Of Kong and Dougzilla Arent Alphas Yet. The Monsterverse could introduce a new titan But after this idk honestly lol. Would do ya think? P.S. - I Really Wished Kingdom Kong was a movie. Id prefer see monsterverse re adapt The beast from 20,000 fathoms. Have rhedosaurus come in, kong n Godzilla had their time un screen. Do a new concept never been looked at in long time. Or An anguirus movie about anguirus missing from king of the monsters. Or A second Godzilla apart from the present one call it Gigantis. Have both anguirus n Gigantis fight paying tribute 1955 raids again. Or do something different such as Son of godzilla id care see manilla/Godzilla jr. Come in.

I don’t wanna be disrespectful but I feel like the take on Kong needing more development and powers just ain’t it. He has had more screen time and what it looks like to me, further development in GXK than Godzilla has in any of his movies. Also, Kong doesn’t need to be Godzilla level when it comes to powers, lightning powers would be cool but it just doesn’t fit the character and isn’t needed.

I think the next movie probably will be a solo movie. Most likely a kong movie as he makes the most money at the box office (I know G fans get mad when I say that but it’s just the truth). I agree that we need more original monsters. I’m sick of TOHO monster speculation. KOTM tried it with the big 4 and flopped at the box office. Some of the best monsterverse creatures are originals (skull crawlers and war bats) I don’t think any monsters beside Godzilla and Kong will get their own movie because it just wouldn’t be profitable, but I think an alternative would be a monarch season 2 with spotlight episodes focused on a particular kaiju (eg a mothra focused episode) And lastly can we appreciate that kong is finally getting his own arch nemesis in this movie? Something he’s never had in his 90+ years of cinema
