Did anyone see that Bengals fans created a petition to get them into the playoffs? 23,981 people have signed it. It says, and I quote "The Bengals should be in the playoffs as a 4th wildcard since the Chiefs obviously threw this game. Under the Fair Act clause, the Chiefs "throwing" the game against the Broncos today should result in the team facing violations for their actions, as they definitely undermined the integrity of the game." All that has to be a joke, right?
@aleksa-77-73 күн бұрын
That is pathetic. You can't count on other teams to win to make the playoffs. Win your own damn games and you won't have a problem. Go Chiefs
@BroncoJosh3 күн бұрын
@@aleksa-77-7 Right? If you're in a position where you have to rely on Carson Wentz and the Chiefs' backups to get you in, you don't deserve to go to the playoffs. And don't open your season by losing to one of the worst teams in the NFL. It's fun that Broncos fans and Chiefs fans come together to make fun of salty Bengals fans.

On top of Thuney being a great LG he also improves the LT position. I think Dj is going to be fine next to him. Orlando Brown is a decent LT but next to Thuney he looks like a $30 million LT. Also the run game improves.
@usernamesrlamo3 күн бұрын
I want to see lots of quick release timing throws. Chiefs march down the field when they do quick release throws mixed with running the rock. Mahomes gets himself in trouble when he holds onto the ball too long. Kelce is older and Hill is gone, so Mahomes running around and creating magic from broken plays just doesn't work as well as it used to.
@SinisaBorovcicKurir3 күн бұрын
Only way you have a fast passing game: A lot of Holliwood Brown,little les of worthy and Hunt,and Perine and Pacheco. Those are your guys for fast passing game. Endarounds with Mecole and Worthy. And red zone targets are Hopkins and Kelce. Watson,Brown and Worthy are deep ball threats. Also we have Juju. If Jaylen returns,and starts playing well in afc champ.game,if Humphries can hold LT spot. We are the best team in the league easily.

I thought about something when u said Hopkins played less than 50% of snaps.. that doesn't mean he couldn't though so I wonder if Andy installs ALOT more stuff for D-hop in the playoffs and we see D-hop Hollywood and worthy as the 3rd option vs how we played the last 2 games where worthy the the primary target I think Andy is the best at disguising what he's gonna do and I wouldn't be surprised if we hit the playoffs and nobody knows what hit them...

This is in no way my idea, just my guess based on what Andy's been doing But I think Thune will be back to his normal position, establish the run, the quick toss, and the WR screen And then from there, the deep throws will sinply come off play action. Sort of what you guys mentioned, the pure drop back 1-2-3 progression game is not needed. Run the ball, screen the ball, play action to Xavier and Brown

4:20 - That looks like lack of experience working together. It's understandable, given how recently Humphries was signed. But it's not just Humphries. Both the younger OTs seemed uncertain of where their help was over there on the left side. The Denver game was a preseason watch, but I'm always interested in preseason. In Week 18, we all got to see Kingsley Suamataia starting at LG against an opponent playing for its playoff life.

RB Room - I think Pop and Kareem should split reps through most of the game. But Kareem should get short yardage runs and definitely lean on him in Q4 (so keep him fresh then batter the defense late). I love Samaje too on 3rd downs (always liked him on the Bungles).

Question, the two quick passing games, were the last two.. you think Hollywood played a part in that, along with worthy development? I think the offense looks the best it has in the last two years, and I think they are holding cards on top of that. I loved the quick passes.

Man…. I am so excited and feeling good about this team, it’s a bit worrisome. Last year, I had essentially given up on a deep run due to the inconsistency of the team so viewed each game as a “well, eff it, whatever happens, happens”. This is the best Chiefs team entering the postseason season since Len Dawson. I wasn’t following when Lenny played so not saying these Chiefs aren’t better than them too. Very healthy. Getting some players back. Ending the season strong (other than Broncos game which kind of freaked me out but shouldn’t). Seems like the offense could really light it up when needed with that receiving corps.

@btbarr162 күн бұрын
I've been saying this all year, the Chiefs are gas lighting the league. They did it last year, but a few extra mistakes cost them more games than they would have liked. The stretch of one score games that they went on cannot be by chance. It was on purpose, only this year they perfected the technique and only lost one game that mattered. There's times you could see it in games they appeared to be struggling. They would struggle, the game is well within reach, it becomes a two score game, and the next possession the offense easily matches down the field and scores to bring it back to a one score game. Then they just need a so by the defense, they score again, and kick a field goal worth little to no tone on the clock. Watching Mahomes reaction to some of those gaming winning kicks was less a look of relief and more a look of "i can't believe this is still working." Which makes sense after last year. After the prior years he had up until last year, just imagine him being pitched the idea, "yeah we want to score less." He did it, but the frustration that showed at some parts of the season was probably from him not being fully sold on the plan. Later in the season he embraced it and stopped forcing the issue. This year they go on that long one score game steal until the Steelers game. Locking up the 1 seed is like winning a playoff game and they played like it was a playoff of game. They fired on all cylinders, 29-10, and the one score streak is broken.

30 looks like the best option at slot with 22 on the outside. 27 is good in run defense but can't keep up with a guy like McConkey, 13 just looks lost most of the time. Watson coming back would be huge.

Great in-depth analysis, but I noticed Seth's comment: "Worthy, Hopkins, Brown is a good trio"... After he previously chooses adjectives very carefully, I believe his intent is that they're "good" but not "great"... which I disagree with! The three of them, along with Rice and Juju constitute one of the finest WR corps in the NFL! I agree with Caliendo being a detriment to the team, but so is Juwan Taylor!

I’ve always liked Pacheco more as a person than a player, hes explosive but not so explosive he gets cheap scores, bad at short yardage too, so I like him as a RB2 and the chiefs should treat him as such and draft a more fast/explosive RB in the offseason
