This was exactly one season after Fox bought the rights for doing NFC games from CBS. (The Eye Network would return to doing NFL telecasts, but with the AFC in 2007) . In this 1995 opening, which stars Bart and Homer Simpson, the show would feature an animated blimp (Cleatus the Football Robot would come later), and James Brown would be the original host.
