The incredibly talented and versatile Boris Karloff was one of the most special people in show business. None of his colleagues had a bad word to say about him during his 48-year career. The 1 exception is Frankenstein director James Whale who was a snob and looked down on Boris because he didn't have a prestigious theatre career. Boris was widely beloved. In 1933 shortly after he became a star, he helped found the Screen Actors Guild to protect artists from being overworked, underpaid, and abused in the workplace.

Ricardo Montalban was a faithful Catholic and was married to Georgiana Young for over 60 years. I watched an hour long tv interview he did back in the 1990's, only in the end did you know he was suffering from terrible back pain, he causally mentioned it at the end. As a very young Cherokee guy I got to spend time with Sally Field and she was so kind to me and everyone around her. I was astounded at her sweet nature for a person who had been famous for so long. When I left Hollywood after enlisting in the military, Sally gave me a huge hug and even a kiss. It was a sibling kind of kiss, but I still felt very special as a result. She'll never read this, but Sally Field is one of the nicest people I have ever met, regardless of the business.

David Niven was a real Gentleman. When he passed away the cleaners, and baggage handlers at Heathrow Airport sent a massive flower display to his funeral. The message read “ A real Gentleman, always made time to talk to us when he passed through Heathrow “ Although I am far from rich, and famous, I always chat to the cleaners, and baggage handlers , ask about their shift, and what the average person does not know about their job. Pays off , I now know where I can have free shower, and where to relax away from the crowds.

A huge -- HUGE -- omission from your list, and one who should be at the very top -- is the late, great Doris Day! Doris was in real life as you saw her onscreen -- very sweet, kind and most humble. From the late 1950s to the mid 1960s, Doris was the #1 box office actress. During this time, Lucille Ball, who was a great fan of Doris Day, conducted a live radio interview with Doris on the set of one of her movies. Lucille admitted to being nervous and a bit intimidated in Doris Day's presence, yet, it was Doris Day who felt humbled and honored that Lucille Ball would even be interviewing her! On another note, I'd like to say something about Cary Grant. On the set of "That Touch of Mink" with Doris Day, Doris was the main star; yet, Doris insisted that Cary Grant's name be listed in the credits above her's. Still, Cary wasn't very social with Doris on the set and withdrew from her and wouldn't speak with her much at all (not nice, Cary!). Otherwise, Cary Grant was known for his impeccable taste and gentlemanship, but not so much as a social person with other actors/actresses of equal stature. Enjoyed the video!

Robert Wagner murdered Natalie Wood. I don't this lightly as ever since Natalie's death I have read every scrap of information I could find about what happened that night hoping that Wagner wasn't responsible for her death. There is now no doubt in my mind that during their drunk argument he shoved her after getting physical with her ( bruises were found on her body inconsistent with just falling off the boat) & trying to cover it up by saying she slipped & fell trying to untie a dinghy. Natalie had a deep fear of what she called dark water after having a drowning accident years earlier in her career
