100% I used to get sooo triggered by toxic mfs in this game (still do from time to time). In my head, I'm thinking things like, "people who can treat total strangers like this are the root of all the world's problems" and I couldn't tolerate people like that succeeding in any way (even meaningless ways like in For Honor). But the older I get, the more I realize that the reason I don't shit on strangers is because I'm doing well enough not to need that to feel secure. Havok, just wanna say that asshole really should be banned, but I am very excited for the JJ training arc. A couple of things idk you might have known before, but will defo help regardless. For starters, the parry choke can be held much like warmongers impale, just hold it for longer and itll do like half the stam of almost every character while repleneshing yours, can be used for wise decisions in some cases. Another little thing, JJ is similar to warlord with his heavies(as you'd know, with the side heavies being more) but his unblockable top heavy actually does a slight bit more damage, which is good if you throw them to the ground. On JJ's guardbreak, if you hold the movement backwards while doing a top heavy it'll give JJ some insane spacing, which can be used for some characters to miss a light interrupt on your unblockable. Onto the parry/throw oos, parry is unblockable zone(from parry) into top heavy, whereas the gb oos throw is(correct me if im wrong) to the side, in which you get a side heavy and a top heavy off(aka max damage.) Oh yeah one last thing, because of the hidden stance buff, JJ is insane at recovering stam on(for example when you're already low on stam) a kick to light(where you cant do anything after or you're out of stam.) Also his recovery from stance now is insane, on characters with a double light combo you can HS the first then parry the second. Hope this helps!❤

Hey Havok, here are some tips for JJ. You probably know most of them but maybe it will help you improve even more! After hitting a zone, your next unblockable will give you a true 50/50. If they empty dodge or dodge attack, you will always get the gb. Dodge forward into side light works a lot to catch empty dodge and some dodge attacks. Forward dodge heavy is a good tool to interrupt. After throwing a heavy UB, you can use sifu stance to dodge a incoming dodge attack or dodge bash and use zone to punish them. Be careful tho, some character can recovery cancel to punish you twice or hyperarmor to trade. Against variable timed bashs (warden/cent/warmonger), you can dodge lvl 1 and use sifu stance at lvl 3 to avoid their mixup. This is commun knowledge, your opponent might try to bait your sifu stance around lvl 3 for a free gb tho. Your dodge attack can always be interrupted with a light from your opponent when they see a red indicator, it's not safe to use it from neutral against people who know about it. JJ is the only character (to my knowledge) that cannot heavy feint gb in time to catch a light parry attempt, your gb will bounce off their heavy (from their light parry attempt), be careful about that. When getting a gb, you can hold backward and do a top heavy to get better distance between you and your opponent. This is useful when you are low on stamina since you can sifu from far away. That's pretty much all I have in mind. Have fun!

Not to take blame away or not hold myself accountable, I was going through alot in my life. Still it was no excuse. Sorry you had a rough game Havok. But more tips for JJ as I seemingly keep doing lol. Anytime you make a read to dodge attack a bash use sifu stance instead. Both have the same risk of falling to a GB but at least sifu stance guarantees you a punish on correct read of a bash. Sifu stance is basically JJ's optimal read against most bashes instead of the typical dodge attack. This applies to chain bashes as well. With the recent changes to JJ you can sifu stance dodge chain bashes even after hit stun. Last tip since I didn't see it. Dodge forward heavy is a good bait for dodge attacks. Shin kick is unreactable and forward dodge heavy often baits the dodge attack reaction. You can recovery cancel sifu stance forward dodge heavies so you can punish most dodge attacks against the Dodge forward heavy. I personally use this a lot. As if they dodge attack or dodge bash I can punish it. If they empty dodge you can chain light or chain heavy off it instead. Also you can cancel your heavy start ups into sifu stance too. Use this when you're low on stam and cant afford a soft feint GB or hard feint It lets you cancel heavies without going out of stamina.
