When remainers were put in charge of Brexit, this is what we get. Two and a half years on and and we have delay after delay, in the hope a miracle will save them from having to leave. We were told leave would mean leave, nothing about pre conditional deals. After this fiasco of how we have been treated by the EU for last 2 years , anyone who had any doubt should now know why we voted leave in the first place.

I'm a lapsed Labour voter and voted to LEAVE then voted for the Tories as I thought they'd be the best ones to do the job! I cant believe whats happening we look like a 'banana republic' The Tories have well and truly given the British public the 2 fingers and bent over for the EU (I know its crass but I'm tired of being PC) How can we as a nation be taken seriously. We are a small nation that has, the equivalent presence of the 19 smallest members in EU. So how have we ended up in this disasterous position (in every way) than before the referendum? I will never ever vote again. Never trust a politician but most of all DETEST/HATE all Remoaners because they are the ones that have got us in this mess. They should have accepted the result brushed themselves down and united with leavers to show the world that the oldest democracy in history could stand strong outside the EU. You say a simple question, but I was thinking of the duplicitous methods of Sir Humphrey Appleby... Sir Humphry: Yes, Minister, the people did indeed express their desire to not be a member of the EU, and so they are now not a member. Hacker: But Sir Humphrey, we're still taking orders from the EU! Sir Humphry: Yes Minister, but not as a member, merely as a supportive friend. Hacker: But that's worse!!! Sir Humphry: Well, that's what the people have chosen. Hacker: No it isn't, they wanted self-sovereignty. Sir Humphry: Well that would have been a different question, and we do not ask it, so how are we to know that's what they wanted. Hacker: You mean you only ask questions in such a way you get the outcome you want no matter how it's answered? Sir Humphry: I am but I humble vessel, Minister, I have no wants of my own. Hacker: So we'll just have to have another referendum and ask the question in a clearer way. Sir Humphry: If that's what you want Minister Hacker: You mean you'll support me in doing this? Sir Humphry: Of course Minister, if that's what you wish Hacker: How soon? Sir Humphry: Well we'll have to begin with some enquiries, and correlate outcomes of all the constituencies, eventually, and then there is the legal issues, and counter legal and so forth, and then of course... Hacker: How long? Sir Humphry: In good time Minister Hacker: How long? Sir Humphry: A reasonable estimate I would say about 30 years, perhaps a bit more. Hacker: 30 years!!!! Sir Humphry: Mmmm unquestionably before the next century !
