The lighter skin and higher cheekbones of the Igbo can be explained by phenotype. Igbos tend to be more Congolid while Hausa are more Sudanid.

That igbo boy doesn't really know his culture. Meanwhile we used to be one people the thing is when did the split happen. We share the same haplogroup which is E1B1A. The competitive thing going on between them is like siblings with serious potential a but using the competitiveness wrongly. We could lift each other and more importantly black people up.

@@uchenna127 Igbos have more in common with Yorubas than Edos and it’s only Abia/Afikpo Igbos who are somehow related to the Cross River/Calabar groups. Someone from Anambra has more distant linguistic and cultural affinities with a Yoruba person than someone from Calabar other than the fact that they’re both “Biafran.”
