First its axles, then d-shaft, and hopefully it don't take out the tail shaft of the trans, then diff, then trans starts slipping after about 20-30passes.. These cars are perfect at 10.5 to 10.8... Any more, and you need to spend another $10k..

I have the stock axles from my 2021 Mach 1. I have the Ford Performance axles installed. I don’t use the stock axles at all and they are pretty new. Just have a couple thousand miles at most on them. I don’t have any ship boxes. I can sell them.

When I watched Stang mode put the Whipple in his dark horse the shop upgraded his axles and drive shaft. Even before the dyno it looked like such a necessity for that power increase. I’m under the impression that the quality of the parts from GT to DH is noticeably different, as well they should be. Even the door/trunk hinges are different. I think in order to be not only safe but have that car confidence u gotta replace every performance part w a racing option. Be safe out there brother.

@@thegangsterofpool I have a s550 GT, aluminator short block, Whipple on E85, headers, drag radials, etc etc. makes 850whp. Stock axles, stock DS, no breaks or issues. I don’t race it on a sticky track either, cause the same thing would happen to me as it did Derek. Street use, roll racing they will be fine. If doing any dig racing have to modulate it and not give it everything on the launch. Eventually I’ll get them….. already have a good chunk of the suspension done. Most boosted mustangs you see don’t have axles and everything done, unless they’re meant to be more than an occasional track car.

Not only 8k twice in the burnout.. drills 8k and holds it there with no load on the motor.. I don't see a single way possible that your chains or phasers aren't damaged.. Good damn thing the OPG & CS didn't let go.. Man you gotta be a bit more diligent with the rpm bro.. Trust me, I have destroyed 1 gen2 and 1gen3 yotes.. They aren't indestructible like everyone seems to think..

Dawg, i had no control over the rev limited when it snapped. My foot was off the gas the car tweaked out. I didnt just “hold” it there for fun haha
