Nick Walston Well yesterday my buddy totaled his truck after he drove over a lady bug. Basically same thing that happened in the video. Paint is actually very imporntant to the engine timing so once you get a scratch, it's over. Hell if I we're him I would just take that truck off the the scrap yard right now before it goes out on him. With a scratch in the paint that bad, I'd say the truck has a few days left at most. Idk who would even wanna part out that truck, it's totally worthless now.

Very easy to tell the side was rolled under in front of the rear wheel. PDR isnt going to fix that. It will need a proper pull and respray.

I don't think that fits the term "totaled" but it may for the insurance company. Now my daughters Ranger would've definitely been considered totaled when she hit a tree. I had to replace the hood, both fenders, grill, drivers headlight, radiator support structure, and the drivers inner fender support structure to repair the damage. Hit the tree hard enough to push the grill support frame mount back 1.5 inches....had to use a large tool of persuasion to move it back where it belonged. We got lucky and found a non-running ranger to steal all the parts from :)

You should spray some soapy water where you're installing your vinyl, it makes applying it and getting bubbles out much easier

its a chevy/GM doesnt anything more then a paint chip is called a total. but on a serious note that is far from being bad gives you a chance to go flat bed an upgrade your bumpers or get a new to you box since so many chevy owners junk their trucks due to problems an sell it off for parts
