Justin, definitely add Discuss content, that would be awesome!!! Your Mom's Discuss are just stunning!!! I really LOVED the comment about how fish fry aren't growing as quickly when they are over stocked in a tank. I was wondering why my fry were taking so long to grow in one tank and in the other they were 5 times the size! DUH!!! Cleared that up real quick!!! Bigger tanks does help!!! Another thing I noticed was that the fry I left in with their parents also grow faster!!! I'm guessing that survival mode kicks in as well!!! I agree with your technical process for BBS, fresh live food is 10000000% better for the Rams. They just like eating moving food! Lol!!! They are cichlids after all...Little carnivorous bastards!!! To help you with the Duckweed... I literally take it and dry it out and make "patty wafers" and feed them to my Corys and plecos. THEY LOVE IT!!! And it doesn't cloud up my water. My Koi's and Goldfish also devour them as well. As always LOVE your content and I am always glad to see you deliver it with vital significance! You have a dignified teaching approach and I really enjoy how you are self taught!!! Which allows new and not so new hobbyist to take a chance and try new things!!!

Hey Justin, about algae wafers, I have not used them personally but have heard very good reviews about Hikari algae wafers. I have seen multiple KZbinrs using them as well. They come in different sizes and based on their webpage, they are specially designed for herbivorous fish, these wafers contain high amounts of spirulina and chlorella algae and they are specially formulated so they do not cloud the water in your tank. Think you should give them a try and maybe do a test on algae wafers for us to see which is best. Saludos y bendiciones from Guadalajara.

Thank you for the suggestion. This seems to be what I am being advised generally so I must look into it. This definitely could make a good video so I will definitely consider it for a future video.

Hello Jason, the algae wafers I use are the hikari brand, they seem quite decent. Also I have found for the plecos once or twice per week I will give them a slice of zucchini or cucumber on a stainless steal fork to weigh it down, I leave it in for 24hrs it does not seem to cloud the water. Also repashy gel food is magic for them, I use the soilent green flavor with a tad of spirulina powder added in. Sorry I ramble so much🙂 the nighttime routine is great! Can you believe I have not ever used bbs yet? After this demo from you that will change! Thank you mate🙂👍🏻

About how old is beluga and your other celestial rams? They’re very big and my males are still on the thin side
@JustinsFishRoom3 жыл бұрын
They are about 6 months old now. They are huge fish for sure due to good breeding and good conditions. Skinny rams are unfortunately very commonly found in the majority of the stock out there. Try find a good local breeder who spares no expense with their fish and setups and you will definitely get a good pair.
