When Jack asked the little boy "what is your name?" that should have been a clue to the little boy that this is not the real Santa because kids are told that Santa knows everybody's name.

I remember this really well. Jack seems to have ruined Chrimbo by sending terrifying prezzies to poor kids but Santa eventually fixes Chrimbo as we know. Anyway I've seen it about loads of times and it's kinda eerie and strange but it's very good. I think my sister stills has it on DVD so she got it for Chrimbo in 2002 when she was fourteen years old. As for when Jack addresses the little boy as "sonny", the real Santa in this universe thought that everybody in Halloween Town was cuckoo except for Sally. (See Santa's advice to Jack about the desire to take over the holiday of another being that Sally is the one to turn to for advice and you'll see what I mean).
