The sad thing is, this really isn't new. If en peeps had paid attention to the other branches, or the Japanese weren't so accepting of these types of things, everyone would have seen they've always been shady as all hell. Not drama, but a company wide culture of exploitation, abuses, and unfair practices.

@@ericp631Conner talked about this a bit, though he has to be really careful what he says due to Japanese libel laws. Part of it is how Japanese talent agencies (which obviously the vtuber agencies spun off from) are, namely that the agencies have a disproportionate amount of pull with traditional media. These also take a massive cut of the talents pay. Niji seems to have taken literally all the worst traits of the Japanese talent companies. Cy Yue also mentioned how he talked to both Nijisanji and another company (not named afaik) the other company requested he go through them for any voice acting in the future, while Nijisanji wanted him to stop voice acting entirely. He turned both down, but obviously the Niji one was far worse.

I think the worst part of it is that most of the JP side, whether it's the JP management, JP livers, and the general JP audience that I've seen so far don't seem to care and blindly support Niji thanks to the "hail corpo" mindset ingrained in their culture. I hope that has changed since then once they realize the truth about Niji's callous disregard for their former liver's life because I'm pretty sure things like that are also serious business in Japan.

"Vtuber drama" is almost always a misunderstanding or an individual making a mistake. This is the culmination of hidden problems in an otherwise trusted company that has rattled the entire Vtuber industry as a whole. The fact that they managed to exist this long and still have support is amazing in hindsight. If it wasn't for the Selen drama NIjiEN would still be succeeding while treating their talents like garbage.

Little do they know, it pushes her further up. There seems to be a strong correlation between Elira losing subs, and Doki gaining. The drama hurts Nijisanji's numbers and boosts Doki's. The only real downside for Doki is probably the tax this puts on her already weakened mental health, hopefully the support from the people around her and the Dragoons is enough to overshadow it.

They don't care enough about Doki to want to bring her down with them. What they care about is losing money and sponsors and business partners. Nijisanji terminated Doki 2 hours after her lawyer sent a document she wrote with more, very personal, information because they'd ghosted her for a full week. Ghosted for a week. Send supporting, very personal information, to HR and Legal, not for distribution. Fired 2 hours later. She tries to move on. Scheduled her first game stream. Nijisanji put out a hit piece featuring 3 talent outright slandering her, deliberately at the same time. After they KNEW she'd tried to END HER LIFE TWICE. They ATTACKED AND HARASSED someone who TRIED TO END THEIR LIFE TWICE *RECENTLY*. Her friends had to stay up with her all night. There's no way she's not in a vulnerable mental state. There's no shades of grey here. That's about as unethical as you can get. It's almost like they wanted to actually kill her. Nijisanji is just EVIL. PURE EVIL. I CAN NEVER SUPPORT NIJISANJI EVER AGAIN. THEY PHYSICALLY REVOLT ME.

Fr. Remember how much incriminating evidence Zaion had collected in just a month, Selen has been in Nijisanji for more than 2 years. She could probably tear the whole of NijiEN (and a bunch of livers too, I suspect) apart by just disclosing a fraction of that to the public. Even more people would support her after that. But no, she keeps it to herself, not for her, but for the sake of the people who bullied her. And they thank her by publicly slandering her to dampen the blow they think they are about to receive. Because they don't understand her perspective. How could they, they only think about themselves.

It's not even a huge deal and is standard for a country that is very particular about copyright because they don't wanna get sued for infringement. That doesn't mean that they will ever use these designs for other things, it just means that now the artist can't use it and make money from it because it now is something that belongs to Nijisanji...that's it.

The underlying problem with Nijisanji is that they're too focused on growing the company for the shareholders. Too many debuts in too short of a timespan. They don't do international market research. They don't give existing talents a foundation to grow on. They don't make sure new debuts fit in with the rest of the staff and talents. No support at all. Also, this came up in FalseEyeD's stream yesterday: they are currently looking for part-time managers that are in highschool or university.
@BronzeAgePepper
@BronzeAgePepper 7 ай бұрын
I'm sure that last part will go fantastically! "no one in that demographic will apply with how bad Niji's rep is and the ubiquity of the internet's word." You underestimate the desperation of the high school / college demo to have stable income and the allure of getting to work with "cool" vtubers for a living. Such a move lines up perfectly with how they've been running this shitshow, having such inexperienced people there to further sow chaos as the senior pancreases further entrench their greedy, ruthless, "I'm the real victim" bully clique. Exactly what I want to see in the arc of watching the clown branch of a scuzzy company utterly collapse.

Lmao they still cheap out on the managers, only looking for part time managers without work experience. People say niji has freedom, turns out that means no one is monitoring and managing them. My speculations is that their core issue and the main cause of their problems is they cheap out on having a professional management team for their en branch. Can you imagine the talents managing themselves? No wonder there's rampant favoritism. In comparison, look at holo. Just off the top of my head, there's A-Chan and Nodoka-chan as the public facing managers. They even have their own live2d. As a backup, fubuki can also function as a makeshift PR professional too. You can see the outcome in how professional their event managements are. Even when they have an emergency, it's quickly handled in a professional way. Imo that's how you know whether the management team is good, how they handled an emergency.

They're hiring scapegoats, this time the perps may have been too valuable to completely throw under the bus so they used their chonkiest (in terms of fan base) talents to, in Asmond's words, "tank the raid boss while undergeared" Those part time managers will come and go as disposable human shields. This kind of tactic works in JP but unfortunately in the west of we see 10 people fired in a year for the same management problems it's won't be a huge leap for people to see maybe whoever is above these guys is the problem. For the amount of rampant consumerism there is in the west, we don't have as much corpo loyalty as they'd probably like us to have.

In my mind, there are two possible reasons for this mess: 1. Record-breaking incompetence, or 2. Doki genuinely has a mountain of "receipts" that could potentially sue Nijisanji into the ground. Even if Doki is completely in the wrong and Elira, Vox and Ike genuinely wanted to defend themselves, under no circumstances is the correct answer to out yourselves as potential bullies with the only evidence being essentially "trust us, bros" and "look, she didn't follow procedure." The only logical (assuming everyone isn't just morons) reason for this is that the company feels threatened and the only weapons they have are Nerf guns and their own talent.

But how do you think it's a good idea? Put yourself in the livers' shoes. How can the thought of going against the mob possibly not cross your mind? Did they not read their comments? How deep were they in their echo chamber? They could have told management no as a collective. But they didn't. They could have just say they want to move on and nothing more. But they didn't. Heck, they could have omitted the sentence that they "volunteered" to say those things and it would sound thousand times better. But they didn't. Heck, they made it sound more personal than it should. How did they think they could turn public opinion around? This is the biggest question right now. 9:10 this is only acceptable up to a point. Harassing a suicide survivor in the name of defending the company that pushed and abused the person to that point is not acceptable under any circumstances ever. You don't get to use the excuse "my boss told me to" or "it's just part of the job" to get away with attacking vulnerable individuals especially in support of a company that is trying to ruin them and sees their attempt and overall trauma as nothing more than an "negligible" obstacle for them to throw under the bus. The 3 that took part in that stream do not deserve any sympathy at all for engaging in harassing a suicide survivor in the name of the company that pushed them to that point and trying to give them a break because "they might need the job" or whatever other assumed circumstances is horrible and undermining the severity of what they are doing. It doesn't matter of they were told to or pushed to, they harassed a survivor and someone going through hell it doesn't fucking matter if the company said to do it you can't do that shit and have it be acceptable. Anyone with an ounce of dignity would never do that to someone regardless of their job being on the line and yes I can speak from a experience in a far less severe example of this sort of choosing dignity over company so don't try and tell me they can't or shouldn't have to in their far more serious context.

I think it's like Ko said, Niji/Anycolor is a Japanese company that seems to not understand the difference between the mindset of the general Japanese and western public. Japan is a very hierarchical society where the weight of your word largely depends on status. For example, the word of a doctor would vastly outweigh the word of let's say the word of a simple office worker/salary man, simply because of the prestige that comes with the title of doctor. Because of that (and their typical group over the individual mentality) Japan generally has a very "respectful" view of large corporations and "higher ups", compared to the west, where people are way more willing/used to criticizing large corpo's for their policies that can range from anywhere between dubious to downright despicable. Niji is most likely operating under the assumption that they can handle this situation the same way as they could in Japan and still have most of the public opinion on their side, because they're a 'big important corporation' whose status (and therefore word) far outweighs a single terminated former employee. And their constant string of failures comes from to this day STILL not realizing that that doesn't fly here in the west. And for good reason!

The situation is even worse than we knew. Doki tried offing herself not once, but *twice* , and these people have the gall to smear her like this, most likely based on either altered, mistranslated, or incomplete information. They ripped open the wound she was hoping would heal over time, and we can only hope her mental health stays stable enough to not have her try it a *third* time. She released both an English and Japanese statement a few hours ago, so show it to every Japanese person, who still supports Nijisanji. They need to know what the drama is all about, and why we are so angry at The Company, I fully expect the EN branch to collapse this year. The trust in them is fading quickly, and their stock is already down 15%. This whole shitshow is no longer incompetence, it's pure malice of the highest order, and I applaud her for _still_ wanting to take the high road and settle things peacefully. However, sooner or later, if this keeps happening, she _will_ have to drag them to court, and she has a very strong case against them the more ANYCOLOR keeps digging deeper.

The Elira/Vox/Ike black screen "collab" was 101% Niji management "brilliant" idea. They intentionally chose them as the most popular and most subscribed livers in Niji EN. So in their infinite wisdom Niji management (because I refuse to believe there is a PR department that is so fucking stupid to allow this) used their biggest EN stars as literal meat shields. that livestream by elira, vox and ike was the most mindboggling move to me tbh. 1. why would niji involve other livers in this? 2. why would those livers want to speak publicly on this when the entire fandom is on fire? 3. we all know that niji livers have to get permission for every goddamn sneeze they make, so who game them the permission to do this livestream and thought, "yeah, this is a really good idea!" 4. or even worse, if the livers were pressured into doing this, was this just niji's attempt to use the livers as a shield because only the livers' stream contained slander against doki, but the ceo's video didn't, so if this ever gets taken to japanese court for defamation (because niji is a japanese company, and no matter if doki is canadian or not, it was niji IN japan who acted out of line, see one of connor's recent clips for context on this), niji could just say, "yeah, but WE didn't say that, THEY did" like????????????? yeah, that'd surely make things better?????? honestly, judging by all the ways niji fucked up in the last week, the only possible outcome i can see here is that they realized that they've burried themselves in too much shit to be able to salvage the situation, so they'll try to get revenge on doki and ultimately abolish the EN branch while sacrificing a few of their livers and welcoming the loyal ones into the JP branch...

The weirdest thing to me is that the way Niji has been with the termination letter and then the statement they had Elira, Vox, and Ike make. Like, as far as I know it's not normal for a Japanese company to smear an employee when they're firing them. And it's definitely not normal in West. So yeah I'm with you, it feels like someone has a grudge because it makes zero sense why Niji would not have just made a statement that they were terminating Selen's contract and move on. All this other crap is completely unnecessary an just makes them look bad.

Yes they had a choice. Not sure why people want to believe they had guns pointed to their heads. They had a difficult decision to make sure but one choice was clearly the morally correct one and they didn't choose it for whatever reasons they have. The bottom line is their decision was absolutely morally bankrupt and that's on them. Not the corp. We all know they aren't going to rob a bank or kill a person because Niji said so, this means they have limits and standing up for their friend is not one of these limits
@Hjutner
@Hjutner 7 ай бұрын
Yeah they absolutely had a choice, I agree with Ko that some people don't have a lot of options when working their jobs, I disagreed with him that it applies here. In the real world your options are limited by opportunities available in your area. But Vtubers can literally do their jobs anywhere, they are streamers after all, people have been setting up their own streaming setups completely on their own for a long time now. There are a ton of Indie vtubers out there, and if anything giving the middle finger to Nijisanji could have been straight up a career boost if we look at how the Doki situation is playing out. Now obviously it's not 100% guaranteed that they would have the same success if they chose to leave the company, but as you said there was a morally correct decision here. On one side you have a company asking you to smear your former co-worker (and if we are to believe Doki's statements this morning they straight up lied in the video about having read the documents), and on the other you have your former co-worker who you KNOW has already made an attempt on her life (her tweets about that were already public knowledge by the time they made that video.) Yet they chose to side with the company and smear their former co-worker their so called "friend" as some had called her in the past.

For Niji, it doesn't even matter if the talent was blackmailed into it, or did it willingly. The reason the company ostensibly exists, the reason the talent gives them a cut of the money is to promote them, build their brand, and handle admin stuff (licencing, merchandise, etc.) Either they pressured their talent to destroy their own public image, or someone on the PR team signed off on it and let untrained professionals destroy their own brand. If you're an up-and-coming talent in the vtubing space, either of those should make you run far, far, FAR away from this company. The fact that this Livestream happened at all is *Definitive proof* that Nijisanji exists to extract wealth from their talent at their talents expense. Black company indeed.

well let's give a different perspective the first and foremost: iirc Elira is in JP atm with a working visa if she quits, the company can just revoke that thing and leave her stranded in JP for a possibility, Elira may really be held at gun point, her visa being the hostage to return home for Vox and Ike I'm not sure but I wouldn't rule out the possibility of them also being held by the company since those 2 are fairly intelligent to just pull a stunt like that secondly: Why was this messaged aired at the same time Doki was gonna stream, and held on an employee's channel instead of the actual, Niji channel? not only that, it was alsofollowed not many minutes later by a video in their ACTUAL channel to give a message from Tazumi doesn't that seem a little fishy? thirdly it was pre-recorded and obviously scripted despite them saying "this is our own words" fourth but not the least: Under what reason would an employee get screenshots which were strictly meant to be shared among legal departments, which only involves Doki's lawyers and the COMPANY's lawyers? someone must have given these 3 (and maybe others as well) these pictures in the first place to cause this stream to "have backup information" to bash on Doki now I'm not saying that they're definitely not guilty we have 0 information about who is and who isn't guilty among the other livers, but I don't think it's fair to ultimately decide to say they ARE the bad ones for having a decision and still "deciding" to do this instead because for all we know, and we seriously don't know anything, they could've really just not had a single choice and that stream was just Management enforcing these to make like the stream was "their idea" all in all, we have 0 proofs, 0 confirmations, 0 anything that involves the livers about whether they are good or not so I would say let's leave them in peace, especially after Doki said that she does want this to be neutral and let everyone be in peace The company in itself is the one you should ultimately worry about if anything.

You mention this is Japanese PR. Well… Cover is WAY MUCH MORE JAPANESE in all ways and they don’t do this shit. If anything, Anycolor works a lot more like an American corporation. Hear me out: they hire you, zero support, you work there for three years and then you love on with your life bc you got fed up. That’s the American way. Japanese employment has traditionally been for life in a very family-like institution that is the Japanese company as a place. Also bear in mind a lot of stockholders of Niji are Chinese and they care about the money, not the workers, because they’re not part of a “work in a family environment”-kind of work culture.

The problem (for Niji) is that they're only making Selen into a martyr and making (or letting) other livers be the ones publicly building the pyre is only damaging the reputation of both the livers and themselves. What I just can't comprehend is how they thought any of this was a good idea. Only one party was pushed to their absolute breaking point, only one party has tried to make it clear they just want to move on and start anew and that party sure as Hell ain't Nijisanji and everyone knows it. I want to mention - this isn't new for Kurosanji. This was a thing for them well before they even merged ID & KR into the main branch. Years ago, they had as many great livers equal to the talent that Hololive had at the time. And then they kept shooting themselves in the foot with horrid management. Lets remember Yamiyono Moruru? Oh, don't know her? Well, I'm sure you do if you've heard of Himemori Luna of Hololive JP Gen 4, because Moruru - a former Niji member who debuted in Niji Gamers 2nd Gen (w/Honma & Sasaki) is her past life. There are many rumors that say Moruru was basically bullied out of Nijisanji - and she's definitely in a much better place in Hololive now. Now lets get to Kingyozaka Meiro - she and Yuzuki Roa had a spat between each other due to their similar accents. In typical Nijisanji Management fashion - they fumbled and allowed the situation to spiral out of control. This led to Meiro going to a 3rd party (a Drama VTuber) and then promptly getting Terminated by Nijisanji for breaking NDA Rushia-style. In the resulting fallout, Yuzuki Roa took a hiatus and has barely streamed to this day. And it's been years now. Then there is Suzuhara Lulu, who really deserved better. The entertaining girl whose stare back at her audience has never ever been replicated by any VTuber model since, was - you guessed it - bullied out of Nijisanji. This time, her own fans came after her, and they were even stalking her, and yet Nijisanji Management just let it happen to the point she had to leave the company to get away from it. She has since become a FleshTuber and part-time VTuber and is in a good space now. All this was before the well documented merger of ID & KR which eventually led to nearly the entire graduation of every member that used to be in those branches, the NijiEN AR Live cancellation, and the fallout of that that would eventually cause 7 NijiEN members to Graduate or be Terminated culminating in the situation we are in now. There has been a lot of talk of how the Japanese Niji fans are not even caring about the situation. There was a comment talking about that from the JP-side that makes sense - because of all the past dramas involving Nijisanji, they earned a reputation as a Black Company due to the terminations and drama of Covid-era Nijisanji. Many fans left Niji - so the ones who are left are die-hard fans or those who just put on the blinders and look at nothing else other then their Oshi. The company on the JP side is basically being carried by it's Top members like Kuzuha, Sara, and Salome and the bottom 2/3rds are largely forgotten about. So when NijiJP fans see what is going on here, they become indifferent or they just shrug because they've already known Nijisanji to be a Black Company for years.

About Luna, I wouldn't even call it just a rumor, when the Roa and Meiro drama happened, she made a tweet on her personal life account saying she was a target of lies and harassment in her old workplace, and that she wants distance from them because she's scared. Also, I've heard that Chitose may have suffered from something similar, and that her friend, Aloe, was harrassed by Nijisanji fans for revealing this, contributing to her choosing to quit Hololive, but this is just what I've heard, I didn't search about it, so I can't confirm it actually happened.
@Anim3Gamer
@Anim3Gamer 7 ай бұрын
@@Nathan-nk2wk I guess it could be said that crazed NijiJP fans of Chitose attacked a newcomer to Hololive in Mano Aloe to the point far beyond harassment. Aloe’s parents didn’t know about her status as a VTuber, and her father in particular was not happy to be receiving threatening calls from strangers to their house because of his daughter. Aloe and her family were forced to move due to the 2ch doxxing they were put under. I heard later after she left Hololive that Aloe attempted and somehow survived by hitting trees before hitting the ground. Hololive was honestly powerless once she got doxxed, and Nijisanji did nothing to reign their fans in. Many EN fans wanted her to come back - there was even a petition for her to return but the damage to her personal life was done and what she feared when she mentioned Chitose in her pre-Holo account came true to her case - she left Hololive to regain her personal life. Ironically, Chitose only recently left Nijisanji - so I believe it was just fans getting pissed over nothing. Honestly, because of the Aloe situation and then the Taiwan Incident - EN fans were traumatized by both events and now fight fiercely to protect their VTubers because the consequences of not doing so can lead to death. I believe Nijisanji underestimated that aspect and thought tossing aside members like both would be okay but boy did they misjudged that.

As a fellow Japanese and Vtuber enthusiast, I must share my profound disappointment with Niji. Initially, they appeared as a commendable team, adept in content creation and management, notably promoting Japanese culture globally-a gesture I appreciated. However, the unfolding drama has starkly highlighted the darker facets of Japanese corporate culture, reminiscent of what we term "JTC (Japanese Traditional Company)." This concept describes a corporate environment entrenched in outdated management practices, overlooking international perspectives and employee well-being, and often showing a lack of respect for diversity. Despite Niji's relatively recent establishment, it seems to embody this "JTC" ethos, perhaps influenced by its investors or stakeholders. This realization has left me thoroughly disillusioned. My love for Japan and its culture endures, and I genuinely hope for a restoration of trust. Yet, witnessing such traditionalist corporate behaviors persist is disheartening. If those issues were unfixable, they should have let her go / graduate/ end her contract. They should have done that and in a way that was as neutrally toned as possible. That'd have been 100% understandable even if it pissed people off. The fact that they puppet spoke on her account after the attempt? The fact that THEY revealed the bullying claim? the fact that THEY included their livers? The fact that they did all of this to publically disparage a suicidal ex employee? Having watched the Official Statement from Ellira's channel, whether it was made under duress or not, just made me feel so angry. As Koefficient said I want to give them the benefit of the doubt as the way they spoke vs their shaky tones just didn't match to me. Ultimately they not only shot their talents in the foot but also prevents them from possibly future work and trust, independent or otherwise. 10:17 Societies with an emphasis on the collective tend blame any mistakes on a sacrifice so that the collective can be absolved of responsibility. In terms of "Japanese PR" the people coming out and issuing apologies are usually the ones with their heads on the block. I would have expected them to either blame everything on Selen and leave it at that, or have some random middle manager dude come out and do the PR so that if they do end up needing to fire someone, they wouldn't lose anyone important. Nijisanji is inexcusable and indefensible as a company. Every decision they made was just horrific. Even if Selen was lying about LITERALLY EVERYTHING that happened, she still tried to kill herself TWICE, and Nijisanji acknowledges the one attempt she had made public because they had her medical records to prove it. This means something that was going on pushed her to that place. TWICE. Within a 2 week span of time. Then they fired her instead of letting her quit. AND they put a 3 page hit piece out on her to try to discredit and humiliate her. What the fuck kind of professional company does this? I have never known of any corporation EVER that after terminating someone immediately goes to the largest public platform they have to shit talk them and point out every single thing that they think this person did wrong. That is unprofessional and FUCKED. This is the type of behavior you see of abusers and manipulators as an additional method of control "obey me, or i'll ruin your reputation in public forever". Niji and its management can fuck themselves for this. And then, once again, in the most unprofessional way ever, they parade 3 livers out in front of the world for a second highly publicized message slamming her once again. There is no regard for her life or mental health, this is just them taking turns slamming her with everything they have (which is really just nothingburgers coupled with emotional pleas saying "SHE WAS SO BAD, BELIEVE ME PLS"). Fuck them. Fuck them all. This is heinous, unforgivable, and downright evil. To do this to a perfectly fine functioning human being is already disgusting, but to dog pile on her and make all of her friends join in on it publicly too a month after 2 suicide attempts is absolutely inhuman behavior on the part of EVERYONE involved in it. There IS no excuse for this. NONE. It is vile. Everyone who tries to defend this company OR THE LIVERS who participated in this act are in the wrong. Full stop. It is not a matter of opinion anymore, it's a matter of fact: They dont care if she dies and were willing to push her toward that end. On loosing money: What's better, backstabbing your suicidal friend to continue making 2% for a black company, OR walking out knowing your gigantic audience will not only follow you but also continue to throw endless money at you that said corpo won't suck out of you anymore? On loosing reputation: What's better, backstabbing your suicidal friend to somehow try to sway public opinion to you and the black company you work for being the good guys despite results obviously leading to a massive reputational and legal backfire, OR walking out knowing your gigantic audience will not only follow you but also praise you endlessly for it?

I've been in the Niji community since 2018, basically the point where they started and started to rise in popularity. I loved Niji so much I used to remember every face and name of every talents. And also even want to have an EN branch when the equivalent back then was ID. And if that was not to prove my love for them, I watch NijiEN fro the first wave to the latest. Ever since yugo's "graduation" or a more better term "Termination", I've started to see that my once favorite company is now starting to become the worst. Dokibird was the last straw for me to now with full of passion hate Nijisanji. I hope she succeeds in the future of her career and hope that Niji either dies or change.

Eh... There is a very high chance that those particular talents are the very scumbags who made Doki's life a living hell, so don't feel too badly about them getting their faces torn off for such a stupid move - they probably deserved it, ESPECIALLY Vox!

THANK YOU, for not calling it drama. This is a horrific corporation putting people in terrible working conditions that have a bunch of people quitting and getting fired and that is just the ones we know about. Idk if they ever had a PR team, but maybe they just fired them all. I hope Niji EN will stop existing, because I honestly can't see a way for them to do better without basically swapping out the entire upper management and that doesn't seem all that likely to me.

The most bizarre part of all is how, a few hours after that awful hitpiece dropped, the CEO Riku Tazumi came out with a statement acting all apologetic about the situation. This was planned in advance, the hitpiece mentioned that Tazumi would release a statement afterwards. So we have the head of the company trying to calm the flames while his subordinates actively pour gasoline on them. Did Tazumi not check with branch management to make sure their statement would stay on message? Was he even aware they were going to make a statement? Has EN gone rogue? What the hell is going on with Anycolor's leadership? How was this allowed to happen? Was this just some kind of comically inept attempt to manipulate the fanbase? It boggles the mind.

Tazumi wasn't even SLIGHTLY apologetic about the situation, though... At least, not to anyone except his beloved shareholders and investors! That evil bastard would have happily filmed himself dancing on Doki's actual corpse if it would help him buy another damned yacht!

With Elira’s work visa in Japan and all that, I can’t help but wonder if Nijisanji purposely had her put the video on her channel though blackmail and are now using the ill will the community has gained of her to force her into staying with the company

Little bit extra. - Strike 1 @4:07 The art competition. Not only did Nijisanji not want to hand out prizes to the winners, or was the time for participating limited, but ALL art that would be submitted would be property of Nijisanji. AKA they could do with it what they want. So if Niji wanted to make merch, they could look for participated art, slap it on a t-shirt, mug, stand, lunckbox, etc and sell it for 30-40 bucks each, done on Niji's side, no compensation for the artist or recognition, nothing. Artist would had worked for free while Niji could leech off the other works that wouldn't had won. - Strike 2 @5:00 The events planning. This was originally a Fallguys tournament she organised to play with her viewers and she was basicly told last minute that she wasn't allowed to hold that tournament. - Strike 3 @ 5:35 Not only did Niji terminate her, not only did Management stealth suspend her and impersonate her, not only did Niji private her accounts so the dragoons can't find any more streams/tweets of Selen, not only did Niji use 3 to leak information too and use their cashcow talents as meatshields (which is disgusting). They called their losses negigible, like are you for real Nijisanji, how can a humanlife that was almost lost under your care be negligible. Now everything that happend afterwards was pure karma, with sponsors, investers, merch companies, artist, animators and more pulling out to the point that Niji lost almost 20% of their stocks worth in a week time. They also admitted by their own statements that there is bullying involved and threw Elira, Vox, Ike, Millie and Enna under the bus themselfs (while Selen was never going to reveal that), Nijisanji appearently also condones this kind of behaviour where people are getting bullied untill they try to make it stop by any means. Then you have the CEO himselfs suck up to the investors first and then vaguely surgest new systems (whatever they may be), not an apology to Selen first. The only ones I feel bad about are the other talents. Kyo graduated yesterday and that was entirely overshadowed by the drama that was going on. Scarle appearently didn't want to take any part of the drama and appearently got alot of sh*t for it, because she disappeared for 2 streams, luckily she was safe at a friend's house. Vivi and the others of the last wave (TTT) who joined only 5-6 months ago, during a time where Niji reputation was already very low, with Nina and Mysta leaving and the others on the ID side already planning on leaving as well, lost both her oshi (Pomu and Selen) within those 6 months she's there.

If they just released Riku Tazumi's statement instead of all the other stuff that happened, everything would've been fine. I feel horrible for the talents. My personal problem is with Anycolor and their management, not the livers.

3 livers literally slandered a double self-delete survivor for 15 minutes and told everyone how selfish, unreliable and manipulative she allegedly was. Almost every liver supported that stream by retweeting it on Twitter, most of them with personal messages asking people to watch it. No sorry, but unless they apologize individually for that and make up for it, I'm done protecting them. They choose their side and it's with the company. Leave or be forever tainted by them.

The self-harm stuff still doesn't sit right with me, I just don't understand how as a human being you can stress someone to the point of self-harm, and still have the nerve as a company to not only victim blame, but also terminate in the worst way possible by calling her terimination "negligible".

7:40 I actually seen stuff like that before. First there was that time that after the first season of Kemono Friends, Kadokawa fired director Tatsuki and got backslash, eventually had the voice actors make some statement and thus getting even more backslash. Secondly to a lesser extend it's also a little bit like when Konami fired Hideo Kojima and then just failed at video games afterwards and focused on pachinkos instead.
